Author has written 56 stories for Power Rangers, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Twilight, Chronicles of Narnia, Maximum Ride, StarTrek: Voyager, and Charmed. Well, hello there. This, as you may or may not have guessed, is my profile. It used to be insanely longer, but I figured nobody cared what it said then and just skipped right on over it as I usually do...so, I deleted everything! And yet it seems to be getting longer and longer these days... This is what I will tell you, though: I answer to the name of Margaret and no derivation thereof (Yes, I'm looking at YOU An-Jelly-Ca!). However...MidnightSeeker210=me! Yay for Pottermore! Be my friend. Really though. Be. My. Friend. And while on the subject of names, clearly November 3, 2006 was a very uninspiring day, because just look at the pen name I came up with. I mean, seriously... This whole page probably reads as if I am on crack. I assure you that I most definitely am not. I just happen to update this page whenever I'm most sleep deprived. And I'm just naturally strange. Really strange. Don't let it deter you, though. My birthday is way more awesome than yours. But that's mostly because it is the same as Lily Potter's: January 30. I am several years younger than her, though. And actually alive. I absolutely adore getting reviews of any kind, unless of course you're reviewing anonymously and impersonating Disney princesses. Not a huge fan of that, I've gotta tell you. But otherwise...REVIEW!! No, seriously, go review right now. It makes me happy. Happy=Updates! Of course, angry also equals updates, so feel free to tell me that you didn't like my stories, too. I shall most definitely be inspired to write more just to spite you, because that's just what I do. Aren't I just a shining ray of sunshine? Sadly, I am an incredibly horrible and hypocritical person as I tend not to leave many reviews when I read stories and then demand people review mine. But don't worry, I'm bound to change that one day. I do promise to do my best to try for the time being, though. In the off chance that my opinion actually matters to anyone reading this, feel honored if I leave you a review. It annoys me when people put a story that is listed as Complete on Story Alert (Relationships being the exception). Totally disregarding the fact that I've accidentally done that myself on more than one occassion, why must you do this to me, thus making me think that my new, unread message might in fact be a review? WHY?! Making any kind of decision is not my strong point. In fact, I'm quite a failure when it comes to decision making skills. I'm incredibly sarcastic and should not be taken seriously under any circumstances. Unless, of course, I'm being serious. But that is, in fact, quite rare, so I doubt it will ever be an issue. My greatest dream is for the world to become a place where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned. Another great dream of mine is to figure out why 5% of the people who come to my profile are apparently only doing so to stalk me. And why are you admitting to your stalkerish tendencies? I am firmly of the opinion that sleep is for the weak. Seriously though, I'll sleep when I'm dead. For now I'll just read and procrastinate. Bad grammar hurts my eyes. It's quite the lethal affliction, just saying. If only we lived in a world with spell-check, I'm sure I'd be better in no time. Oh wait... The following is information pertaining to a few of my stories: A note about my earlier stories... I started posting on this site when I was 14 years old. And I can full admit that when I was 14 years old, while I might have had solid story ideas, my writing abilities left something to be desired. I'd say that anything posted prior to 2008, maybe 2009, would be excellent examples of this. Spellcheck...the basic rules of grammar...they weren't always the greatest back in the day for me. Because Rewriting History is basically the story that will never end and is thus still in-progress, I've already gone back and edited it for correctness and other such minor things. My goal is to one day go back and do something similar with my other earlier stories, but I'm probably being overly optimistic letting myself believe that is actually going to happen anytime soon. So, for now, please just keep in mind that those stories are incredibly old, and I have grown as a writer since then. And, although I think many of them are definitely cringe-worthy, I hope you enjoy them. Going Home According to the classic Doctor Who episode "Warrior's Gate" a Tardis can be built. There is no mention of it having to be grown. I realize that things changed from the classic series to the new series. Now, a Tardis must be grown, not built like they used to be. My story Going Home follows the classic series' explanation of how you get a Tardis because it's about Romana's Tardis. When she stayed behind in E-Space at the end of "Warrior's Gate," she said that she'd be able to leave one day because K-9 contained the plans to build a Tardis. Actually, the only reason I'm even writing this now is because I got a few reviews from people telling me I was wrong about the Tardis. And, thinking about it now, I am greatly amused that people complained so much about that one little thing about the Tardis and absolutely no one said a single thing about how horribly I got everything wrong about the way the Torchwood Hub and Torchwood 3 itself was set up and run. Don't worry I have since fixed everything to be the way it's supposed to be. Well, everything about Torchwood, because I absolutely refuse to change anything I've said about how Romana's Tardis came to be. Laughter/Choices I must admit that, while writing Laughter, I quite forgot that Narcissa existed, let alone that she was a member of the Black family. I used to have a short note here (that I'm sure very few, if any, people ever read) basically saying to just suck it up and pretend Narcissa really didn't ever exist. However, I have recently had an epiphany and decided that you should all just go with the idea that Narcissa really does exist but doesn't laugh. It sounds strange, I know, but I've got a new oneshot (ahem sequel to Laughter) currently in the works that will address that issue. Get excited. And while on the subject of Laughter, I just want you to know that the story was inspired by my other oneshot entitled Choices, in case anyone was interested. The stories have a few parallels; in fact I'm pretty sure one might even reference the other. I suppose I could call them companion pieces, but I wouldn't consider them a 'series' per se. Co-authored things... I've co-authored two Harry Potter stories with An-Jelly-Ca which you can read if you go to our co-author account: SiRiUsLyPiNkAnDgReEn. At least, I think that's what our pen name is. But whatever it might be, just go to my favorite authors list and click on whichever penname looks most like that one. And yes, I did favorite myself. What can I say? I'm a huge fan... I have also co-authored two Power Rangers stories with my sister, RedAsARose. However, because we never update anything, we decided to delete them from her account. Stories TBC (To Be Completed): Rewriting History-This story has not been and never will be abandoned. There was a brief period in which I hated this story with a passion because it was giving me so many problems and I had massive writer's block for it, and so I didn't update. But I took the time I needed and I came back to it. That didn't mean all of the problems were gone (although apparently most of the original readers were: I suspect death by old age), but I've been slowly working through those as well. I am happy to say that I now have a definitive plan for where, exactly, this story is going for the first time since I conceived the idea for it more than 6 years ago. This does not, of course, mean that it's going to be completed any time soon. Sadly, life is going to get in the way of that. But now that I actually have a real plan for every moment (Seriously. I mapped it out. EVERY moment.) for the rest of the story, I hope that updates will come easier to me. I don't want to put a number on it, because I really don't have a clear idea due to how much still has to be covered, but I'd imagine there are about 30 chapters left, meaning I am half-way through this story. I sincerely hope that you stick with it until the very end. Relationships-Strictly speaking, this story is complete, as I have done everything I set out to do with it. However, I keep having ideas of additional pairings for relationships and thus keep adding chapters. Basically, it'll finally be over when I run out of ideas, which is why I have it listed as complete. I've got incredibly vague plans for about 4 more chapters. But...whether or not I'm actually ever going to get around to writing them remains to be seen. Feel free to suggest pairings you'd like to see, and I'll see what I can do with them. A Diabolical Plan in Action-Posted because of course this is just what I need right now: another story. However, I know there are only going to be 6 more chapters, plus possibly an epilogue. Also, I've got it planned out. Even so, this story is going to be the death of me, I can already tell. Do you want to know how I can tell? It's because I keep forgetting about this story. I know, I'm awful. I really am sorry. It will be updated eventually. Co-Authored Stories TBC (aka stories that will probably be completed within the next 50 years) The Color Purple (posted under doineedaredrose, written with RedAsARose)--RedAsARose tells me that we have Chapters 6, 7, and 8 written. Sadly, however, Chapter 5 does not exist in any reality I am aware of. We'll write it eventually, though, just you wait and see. Roughly every few weeks/months we discuss updating this story. The conversations ALWAYS go like this: "We should write the next chapter of Purple." ...and then the conversation ends right there. Every. Single. Time. Our apologies. Muggle Studies (posted under SiRiUsLyPiNkAnDgReEn, written with An-Jelly-Ca)--When last discussed, we have decided to put off updating this story until such time as we deem fit to...well, update it again. Basically, it's written in the same universe as the story below and we'd like to get that series to year 7 so that we don't spoil things in Muggle Studies. Or, more likely, we'll be upset that we aren't updating this delightful story and throw that whole plan out the window and be incredibly vague about things that will be laid out in much more detail in the below series. Of course that's if we ever even update again... Year One: If you did it, deny it! (posted under SiRiUsLyPiNkAnDgReEn, written with An-Jelly-Ca; the first story in a planned eight-story series. We apolgize in advance if anyone dies of old age before we even finish this first story.)--previously titled Si Fecisti Nega! If you did it, deny it!. There are literally only two chapters left in this story, and it has been decided that Chapter 13 won't be posted until Chapter 14 has also been written. And we're almost there, people. We promise. Sadly, that most likely means we'll update sometime around...um...whenever we do. Blame An-Jelly-Ca as the chapters are being held hostage on her computer which has a tendency to break...and is very far away from me anyway :) Stories TBP (To Be Posted) once I get around to actually writing them: Chronicles of Narnia: A companion piece to The Forgotten, which I'm not going to tell you the title of, because it will just give absolutely everything away. Or maybe not. Either way, I'm witholding my title for the time being. This is actually already mostly written, but the ending is giving me some difficulties. Doctor Who: I have a tentatively planned companion to Dissidents, explaining the tenth Doctor's side of things. Hmm...this could use a title...wait, no, false alarm. This oneshot is tentatively titled A Telling Glance. After the response I got for Final Farewell, I've come up with an idea for a sequal/companion-like piece for it. When I find the time in my life to breathe (a.k.a. the end of May), I'll get all of my notes in order and get this story written. For now, here's the summary: In the process of settling into their new lives in New York, Rory and Amy received three letters and sent one. One was a final farewell. One was a promise that would never be fulfilled. One was a new beginning. And one was all three. Harry Potter: Hidden Sparks (tentative title)--A Lily/James story that will be a companion to Better Than Revenge. While all of their friends are focused on the continually fraying relationship between Marlene and Sirius, other details slip through the cracks and escape their notice. For example: When in Merlin's name did Lily Evans and James Potter get on first name terms with each other? Learning to Laugh Again--A Narcissa/Andromeda oneshot that will deal with Narcissa's side of things from Laughter and also the aftermath of the Second War for her and her remaining sister. Power Rangers: The Battle of Day Four: An Engagement Party (tentative title)--a companion/prequel to my Power Rangers Death Saga, based off of events mentioned in Chapter 4 of TOMD and Chapter 5 of JSMD. I'm mostly certain that this story is going to become a reality, but I want to try to write as much of it as possible before posting anything. Sadly, it's slow going because I've been stuck in other fandoms. I was going to say that I would work on it some more if any Power Ranger story that I have on alert was finally updated (seriously though, none of them have been updated in ages), and do you know what happened? Literally like 2 minutes after I decided that, I got an alert for a story that hasn't been updated in...oh...several years. No joke.
