Author has written 1 story for Supernatural. Hello! Hey, my name is Jazmine. I found this site through friends of mine, and have been reading and commenting on Supernatural fanfiction ever since. I've also been writing some fanfics of my own (in private) and gathering the courage to actually show them. I'm here to have fun, and make friends, so feel free to message me if you want to talk. My Fandoms: Supernatural (my biggest obsession), Dark Angel, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, House, How I Met Your Mother, Dollhouse, Smallville, and Scrubs, Twilight, X-men. My Pairing: (The major ones; I'll read almost any if the writing is good.) (No crossover pairings are listed here.) Dollhouse - Victor/Sierra, Topher/Sierra-that-Topher-Imprinted Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - Billy/Penny Dark Angel - Max/Alec, Max/Logan Supernatural - Sam/Jess, Sam/Sarah, Sam/Madison, Dean/Cameron, Dean/Lisa, Dean/Anna, Cas/Anna, Sam/Ruby (occasionally), John/Mary House - Chase/Cameron, Foreman/13, House/Cuddy How I Met Your Mother - Barney/Robin (BROtp!), Lily/Marshall, Ted/Mother(if the 'Mother' OC is decent writing), Barney/Ted (sometimes), (though, honestly, in this fandom, I have read pretty much every character pairing possible. If it's good writing, I don't mind.) Smallville - Clark/Lana (in the earlier seasons) Scrubs - Dr. Cox/Jordan, Janitor/Elliot, Turk/Carla, J.D./Elliot, Turk and J.D. ("There's nothing gay about it in our eyes... It's guy love!! Between two guys..." :D) Twilight - All canon pairings, Bella/Jacob, Jasper/Bella (surprisingly, but I've seen it written very well) X-men - Logan/Rogue, Scott/Jean I don't like reading Dean/Cassie very much, because I hate Cassie. I will not read Wincest (Sam/Dean) or incest of any kind. I don't mind reading slash if it is well written, though some slash pairings bug me just because of who is involved. I don't write slash or smut, because, well, I can't, and it is only good if the writing is too. I'm not afraid to confront dark themes (reading or writing). Though I admit it may seem hypocritical, I have a problem with any fic that implies that violence without consent is okay. To be clear, that means that I can deal with abuse (of any kind) in fic, when it is clear that the abuser is in the wrong (bad/evil/cruel), just as I can deal with violence in fic in war/death/sickness/enemies fighting/etc.. I can deal with violence being used with consent in some of the kinkier fics (they do exist). I cannot deal with fics that imply that the abuser is in the right, or any fics implying that it is right to hit/hurt children/animals/women/or anyone, for example, so-called 'Discipline!fic' where parents spank their children. It is wrong, gross, and I cannot see how people could see that as okay. In darker fics, the readers know that the violence is wrong. It sickens me to read a lighter fic where we are supposed to think it is all okay. Sorry, rant over now. :) I despise bad writing. If I find a story where the title has no capitals, the 'you' is written as 'u', and people don't know basic language skills, I will stop reading, no matter how interesting the storyline. The odd mistake is fine, but text-talk or just lazy writing really bugs me. However, I adore good writing, and I have found some authors on here who actually bring me to tears or make me laugh out loud. I just hope I can write as well one day. On Fanfiction.net: I don't like spoilers popping up when I don't expect it. I'll always warn people of spoilers in my stories, and please, everyone else do the same. There's nothing worse than being excited for an upcoming book/movie/tv show episode and having the ending spoilt in a fanfic you're reading. :) Also, I hate flames. Good reviews = Awesome, it's fantastic to get compliments, and to know someone's getting something from my story. Constructive Critisism = Needed. Every author needs it, and it can help me improve my writing, and I'll know what you do and don't like. Flames / insults = Bad. Not helpful in the least. If you hate a story, at least tell me why, so I know for next time, but just insulting me or my writing does nothing, so please don't do it. I love reviews, and I've promised myself to try and answer every review. If Fanfiction.net goes screwy like it does every now and then, and I don't get review alerts, I'm sorry if I don't reply. I mainly write stories for the TV show Supernatural. I write other fandoms more lately, but I am still nervous to post my work. I will gain courage soon! If I get a chapter story up, let me say right now, I can make no promises for regular updates. The horror that is school and work keeps distracting me, as well as real life. :) Don't worry, I am well practiced at writing in my margins and on scrap paper when I should be doing other things, so all stories will be finished eventually. Also, I'm an Australian, and our spelling sometimes differs from Americans and some other places. We tend to add 'u's to some words, like color/colour. So feel free to ignore some 'u's and pretend some 's's are 'z's if you want. Just please don't yell at me for spelling wrong. And, I know, I know, I have been told that I add way too many commas in my sentences. I'm trying to fix that, really. , :D My C2: I am the manager of a C2 in the Supernatural TV show catagory, called 'FaNily Favourites'. It contains a bunch of Fanfics written by my friends in an online forum group called the FaNily. There's a mix of stories in there, but all of them are great, so check it out. I haven't updated it in a while, but there are still some awesome stories on there. General Disclaimer: Anything you recognise, from books, TV, movies, or elsewhere, I don't own. They belong to the geniuses who invented them in the first place, and I'm just borrowing them, temporarily. I only lay claim to the products of my crazy imagination. You'll probably be able to tell those apart anyway, they're usually the weird and wacky ideas that float around in my writing wearing straitjackets. :) FanFics: Worth Watching "One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” At the end of IMToD, John looks back on his life to find nothing but hunting, and wonders whether it was worth it. (Spoilers for up to In My Time Of Dying, Supernatural.) Thank you to anyone who reads any of my work, takes the time to look at this page, or review, or message me. I give cookies to all of you! :) | |||||||
