Status: this story was inspired by the movie starring Heath Ledger (RIP) and Julia Stiles back in 1999. I’ve got several more files ready to be transcribed into chapter format but the only thing holding me back is not knowing what comes next. I know, I know…it’s my story so I oughta know.
Bring on The Rain
Status: I...am now considering posting the original version of this story because it’s less traumatic in later chapters and I just…the more I read about MRod, the more I’ve come to respect her decision not to play the role of a victimized woman…although I'm not quite sure this necessarily would fit the parameters of that genre of character. If/when I figure it out, the description here will change to something that does fit the parameters of such a character.

Status: this is my perspective on how the 4th movie should have ended.

Status: okay, first and foremost, the title of this story doesn’t even really fit what’s going on anymore, so…I'm going to change it. Possibly/probably to a title I’ve already given a “world” that’s still sitting in a folder on my computer’s desktop, but I'm not sure so give me time to figure it out (over the holiday season). This fic was inspired by the Fall Out Boy hit...dont know how to explain it, you'll have to read it to get the gist of it. I am unfortunately putting this on a hiatus, so I may or may not continue this story in the future. I'm genuinely uncertain what I will do with it.

introducing characters that were never even mentioned in the original work

this is disrespectful to the writer, first and foremost, regardless of whether it’s a work originating from Hollywood or a NY Times best seller. It’s BULLSHIT. Don’t do it. It’s disrespectful UNLESS the character has a limited background (or unless you're writer Bad Company over in the Sons Of Anarchy section)

Using the WRONG FORM of a contraction (i.e. the your forms, the there forms)

seriously, I have to go there? I would LOVE to meet the grammar teacher who didn’t teach this shit in English class. EVERYBODY learns this in grade school! When in doubt, SPELL CHECK. It. Is. Your. Friend. USE IT.

There – in reference to a place or event.

Their – collective group of people (i.e. family, a couple, etc.)

They’re – they + are = THEY’RE. end of story.

FORMATTING (or lack there of).

If I learned how to write a damned essay in language classes (english here in U.S.), I know everybody else did unless you simply didn’t go to school.

Quotation marks – double or single

You use the double quotation mark (“) when you’re writing dialogue. One at the beginning and one AFTER the punctuation mark at the end of whatever the character is saying.

EXAMPLE "Fuck this." I muttered to myself, grabbing my cell. I called Vince, praying he was still close by. "Hey, you still at home?"
