Summary: Strange things had happened in the course of her life. The retrieval of some long-lost toy, or the sudden realization that everyone seemed to be moving really slowly. Even the spontaneous and pointedly specific letters in the middle of summer could be deemed odd. But they held neither candle nor flashlight to the fantastic story that this elderly woman in bottle green robes was spinning to Gaddy and her family. After all her studying, all her hard work and faith in the physical laws of science and reason, Gadiel Atiyeh only achieved a curt slap in the face by her own hand. For a brief moment in time, the once-high school-bound teenager wished for one thing. Ignorance.
