Author has written 36 stories for Harry Potter, and Star Wars. Pleased to meet you! I'm Mandy, and I'm glad you stopped in. I have to say, here at the top, that I have a lot of stories here that are a few years old that I still love and love to get reviews for. I know it's tempting not to review older stories because it seems as though they might have fallen off the writer's radar. Mine have fallen nowhere and I still get giddy about reviews even for my older stuff (some of my older L/N fics are my favorites). THANKS. If you hate something I have written and you want to let me know that one of my stories is "vulgar" or "crap" or what have you, please log in and own your review or it will be deleted. I have deleted 2 anonymous reviews from people who had those things to say. If you want to tell me that a story rated M is vulgar and an insult to the creator of the franchise then I suggest you choose not to read M rated stories in the future. And if you want me to know something I wrote is crap then please take the time to tell me WHY you think that is. I have given you an identity behind what I have written and I expect anyone who objects to my writing to also give themselves an identity and not hide behind anonymity like a TROLL. I live in the NW United States and I am currently a full time home maker, writer, actress, and figure skater. I went to college in Las Vegas, and I'm originally from Florida. I used to write ST:TNG and now I write Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Star Trek: Phoenix. Ships I write: ST:TNG- Riker/Troi, Wesley/OFC (he never had a decent love life). HP: Lucius/Narcissa, Draco/Pansy (but only when they hate each other) and one Harry/Ginny story that ate my brain until I got it on paper. SW: Han/Leia. I sometimes write 10,000-15,000 words in a day. Beta reading for me would be like a full time job; and one I am not willing to allow someone to take on- it would cost too much time and I am not independently wealthy enough to afford to pay someone. Add to that fact that fanfic is my 'recess'... the fun I get to have in otherwise rather technically demanding writing, and I prefer just to leave the stories be and not have every teency little typo or punctuation error (or unusual chioce) pointed out to me by someone critical; I get enough of that in my other writing. That said, I do try to find and fix typos, and MS Word 2007 is a big help with that. If you see a typo... close your eyes and pretend it's not there... please? The Nicest Dress You'll Never Need is an aside from the action in What One Must Do. All other HP fic fell out of canon with the release of TDH; JK Rowling had a happier ending in mind than I did. -MQ PS: a pet peeve: CANON VIOLATIONS THAT ARE NOT EXPRESSLY MARKED irk me. I love fanfic. I write fanfic and I read fanfic. I love to read fanfic. I love to read other people's impressions of the characters I feel like I know. I like to see them through other writers' eyes. And I write a lot of reviews. I do not write flames. I can get past stories that are so old that nobody knew that Lucius was born in 1954 and Narcissa in 1955 and Bella in 1951 and Andromeda between her sisters and that Sirius is their cousin. But if you write a fic NOW, that the HP lexicon has all of that available to you and you choose not to use it... then please mark your story AU or I'll be really really annoyed.
