OMG!!...I've been Jokerized... See my avatar? My staff at the veterinary hospital I work in thought that it would be very funny if I could have a picture of what I would like if I fell on a vat of chemicals and had a murderous sense of humor so they did a digital manip of my face. It still looks a lot like the real me...

Name: Isabel

Age: 38. As you can see...I'm of an...older (much older) generation, but I do enjoy fanfiction...this is not only for the young generation, you know...

Living in: Florida where I practive veterinary medicine locally...though many of my friends will say that I leave in dreamland because I have a very busy imagination...sometimes too busy for its own good.

My family: Is very important to me...my dad is with me, and I have three beautiful fourlegged furry children.. ChiChi my sexy maltese , Puppy my old and loving poodle, and Joker, my small guineapig with the Beatles hairdo.

Mental disease: I'm don't suffer from insanity, but I'm a carrier...I'm obsessed with villains...I love them all... Hannibal Lecter, Lex Luthor, Loki, and especially the King of Clowns himself, the Joker. I have pictures, statues, art, comics, fan art and a very large collection on the Clown Prince of Crime as well as a pet named Joker so yes... it's very serious and incurable...as if you had not figure that one out, but something tells me you will understand. :P

A Piece of my Mind: I consider myself very openmided person and I don't like to discriminate on I don't care who you are, as long as you have a brain, we can talk. I love to talk about everything and anything, and if I can learn something from you please teach me, but please respect my views, and speak in a clear respectfull way.

I'm into making people laugh, because I think that life is too short to spend it angry all the time.

What I don't tolerate is indifference, fanatism, bullies, whiners, people with narrow points of view, the abuse of minorities, a controlling State and Church. Everybody is entitled to an opinion and if you are willing to say it I'm willing to listen. Only requirement is...Wear your brain when you talk...I promise to wear mine when I listen. People with no brain should not have anything to say because with no brain function, the mouth shouldn't move... DUH! and I hate people than don't use their brains when they talk. Do you realize it sounds like barking when you do that? I'm a veterinarian, so I know about barking.

Whew! That said...

Things I like: (not in any specific order)

1. Music: I am a classical music freak... Then there is the other extreme...I love techno...especially Trance and Electronica. I dont dance though...have two left feet.

2. Art. I have a great love for the old Rennaissance art. I myself am an aspiring artist. I do a lot of pet and people portraits and am just experimenting with digital media. 3. Comics: Yes...I collect comics. Have a few since I've been collecting since 1989. I identified more with the villains since they make more interesting characters, especially Joker (check out Killing Joke, Devil's Advocate, and the Joker Graphic Novel by Azzarello and Bermejo), Sinestro (Man, I recommend Sinestro Corps saga, it's awesome) and Luthor (Luthor Man of Steel, read it!). The badder the better.

4. Movies and TV: I LOVE movies, owning myself over 900 of them, of any genre... I'm literally a movie horder.

5. Literature: I love Sci-Fi, Fantasy and True crime, which I discovered recently. I also love history, especially ancient history and have a especial place in my heart for historical fiction if it involves Ancient Egypt. Anything Comic Book inspired will catch my attention too (Read Inferno).

6. Writing: What can I say...? I'm in love with the craft. My native language is Spanish and I've written some stuff in my native language and then I decide to try something new...

The story you are enjoying on the site, Path of the Jester: Inner Demons, is my first real attempt on serious storytelling, and though I know it's full of mistakes, it has a special place in my heart because its my first experiment...

A little about the story... it is really a full length novel. And it focuses in Joker more than any other character because I wanted to explore a little bit of his insanity/sanity issues, so you will see a lot of Joker while other characters kind of come and go. I think his insanity its kind of unexplored territory since everybody portrays him just as a loony clown and forget that he is a three dimensional character that needs some credibility. I think he could be more than a clown. Please be kind, this is my first fiction work, but thanks to all that followed till the very end. I hope you enjoyed it reading it as much as I did writing it.

And for those whol liked Path of the Jester...the sequel is up and I promise to make it much more fast paced and entertaining that I did my first try. There is so much I have learned in this two years, I think I can do a little better next. The new sequel is titled: Jester 2.0: Comedy Override, enjoy it and let me know if you like it.

Now I'm also working on a new story a little off from what I normally write...SLASH! Yep. I consider myself straight, and in the past would have never paired Batman and Joker for a love scene, but my friends doubled dared me to set aside my biases and prejudices and just write a good story...Joker's Playmate was born.

To write this story, I had to tweak continuity and some of the canon so don't flame me because the characters are too OOC. It's my view that it had to be done, because there is no other way in which I think I could have make this pairing convincing enough. My apologies for those of you that really like your literature following the standard canon, but I feel that as a writer, I can play with the characters a little, without harming their natures too much. I still tried to stay true to their natures as much as I could.

One word for those reading Playmate... It's about characters, so if you are searching for cheap sex and pornography...search somewhere else. This story is a journey where the protagonists will go through transformations that might not be suitable for everyone. Both worlds, Batman and Joker's, spiral down for the discovery of that which will make them come together, and in the process, there will be lots of laughs, tears, pain, passion and sex...unfortunately also blood and many times in combination with all the others. I don't know you, but I like my Clown very wild. Be warned...this relationship is not for the faint of heart, and I don't think that people below the 17 year old age range should read it...but if you still want to read the story...keep reading below...

Those that want to read the story, need to be objective and mature because this story deals with very adult themes so please, open your minds, and concentrate on the characters that make up the story...everything else is just decoration (yes, even the sex).

I would like to end by asking forgiveness to those out there who really write this genre well, the founding fathers if you may, Please, excuse the burps, the coughs, the blunders...this is just an experiment. Don't burn me for trying to be original. I'm doing my best to deliver a good story, and writing for me is still a learning process. And if the story ever becomes an insult to the genre, my apologies as well, because if I don't deliver it is only me to blame...If Jester was an experiment...this story is in the test tube still...

One word for those following Playmate...It's not abandoned. I know I have been slow posting chapters, but there are a lot of things going on on my life and my inspiration has suffered in the process. My apologies for the tardiness of the postings, but now that the but has bitten me, I have new ideas and new things i would like to try on this story. Please bear with me as I keep this story on track.

Then there are the one shots...Spark of Genius and My Muse Has a Twisted Sense of Humor are kind of related. They both show two vignettes on the life of Joker after he escapes from the Asylum and goes in a crime spree. They were conceived as humorous pieces, just to make you laugh with the rants of a psycho who thinks he's funny (and sometime he is) but they can get a little dark at times. Hope you like them...and more vignettes are on their way 'cause Joker still has to celebrate his birthday, right?

Lastly, there is Joker vs the World where I just went totally crazy and imagined a world where Joker has realized he is a character in Comics and literature, but he doesn't like the way he is treated, and neither the way they treat his favorite toy...the Batman. So what does a sensible man do...? Sue the writers and artists that have wronged you, and he wants for the Detective to join in this class civil action. How does the Clown plan to do that? Lots of fun, jokes, references to books and comics and no one is spared. This one was made for fun, so have fun with it! For those out there who want a sequel...one might be on the works, but let me know the opinion on the subject.
