Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, Catcher in the Rye, Angel, Doctor Who, and X-overs.

Name: Meaghan McCormack

Age: 21

Background: I am a full time college student, and should, baring any unforeseen disasters or major breakdowns, be receiving my degree in May, 2008. After that... well, it's a little less structured. Currently it looks like I'll be heading back to my hometown in the Silicon Valley to work for a high tech company, save some money, find a place to live, purchase (and learn how to use) kitchen appliances, and, if all goes well, become a fully functional adult. Of course, life does tend to get in the way but there's always the wonderful world of fiction to fall back on. During the previously described steps towards real life, I also hope to find time to finish and submit any one of my multiple novels for publishing, travel in Europe and Asia, attend numerous country music concerts and lose ten pounds. I love to hear from other authors, from my readers and from those lonely internet nomads who aren't entirely sure how they ended up here. The best way to contact me is by email at meaghannf@sbcglobal.net.

Fandoms: My favorite fandoms tend to fall all over the map and the stories I've authored don't do justice to the enjoyment I derive from books, movies and television shows such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Atlantis, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Soon I will be Invincible, The Watchmen and just about anything by any of the Brontes, to name a few. Fanfiction allows my mind, overactive at best, to wander through these imaginary worlds for which I could never take even the slightest amount of credit, creating new situations, drama and characters within the context of the world already described. I spend a great deal of effort trying to stay true to the author/screenwriter's voice and an absolutely perfect fanfiction for me would be one that is almost undistinguishable from the original.

Noelle Kelley: The Journal of Noelle Kelley is the only work that is currently being updated. The story is also available on "A Teaspoon and an Open Mind" (A Doctor Who fan fic archive) here : The Journal of Noelle Kelley where it is written in story form, not journal form, and full episodes are linked together as single chapters.

Updates:

January 12, 2008 I've taken a great deal of time away from ff.net, mostly due to school work, and partially because most of my writing energies are focused on my own novels, at least one of which I would like to have finished by May, 2008. I'll start off by apologizing to any readers who have enjoyed my Atlantis or Buffy/Angel fanfics, as I do not have any intention of completing them any time soon. I'd be happy to transfer the chapters to any other writer who would like to continue the story, as well as give you notes for where I had intended to take the plot, however at the moment any free time for fanfiction is taken up with The Journal of Noelle Kelley, my newest fic from the Doctor Who-verse. Thanks for your interest!

January 21, 2008 Although I've been busy working on The Journal of Noelle Kelley, I took some time last night to upload a story I wrote almost four years ago just so I could have something complete on this account. Once More with Feeling is a cross between a novel, a song fic, and the ramblings of an insane person. I wrote it as a birthday gift for one of my best friends (the main character Dani is based on her) and it involves all of our favorite fandoms. I never have enough room on the story description to write what it's really about so, I'd just like to say for the record that a few of the fandoms included are as follows: Harry Potter, Mulan, Anastasia (the animated film), Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy (which is not the same as Harry Potter), Dealing with Dragons series by Patricia C. Wrede, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, and includes cameos from fandoms including, but not limited to, Winnie the Pooh, Batman, Wizard of Oz, and Sherlock Holmes. It also has a soundtrack. But the main thing is... it's complete. So there. I do finish things I start. Really.
