I've noticed now that since there's still two dashes between my paragraphs, my stories are okay. I'm going to undo my "fixes" to maintain consistency, though.
Since brevity is the soul of wit, I'll be brief: I am mad.
And now I will cease to be brief and explain my madness.
My profile is a long mass of randomness, insanity, and other such things. Since my original penname (not used in nearly a year, and even then only in anonymous reviews) was/meant (when I made it Japanese) Princess Insanity, it should not be surprising. This big block of print below is a (not necessarily angry) rant that I add to when needed.
Flaming is really, really stupid. There are better and more civilized words you can use to tell an author that you don't like their story. It is also rude, and there really is no excuse for rudeness. I also hated (it doesn't matter now) when I really liked a story but couldn't tell the author that because they wouldn't take anonymous reviews. (If mine are disabled or whatever, someone please tell me! They're not! Yay!) Different subject: Aren't the abbreviations used for pairings funny? Seriously, just take a look at some of them for (these are just a few examples) Avatar (Kataang, Zutara, Taang), Digimon (Taito, Taiora, Takouji, Junzumi), X-Men: Evolution (Jott, Kurtty), the list goes on and on. Oh, I just remembered one of the things I wanted to rant about! Am I the only one tired of the GW/SM crossovers that start with Usagi somehow being betrayed by the Senshi and/or Mamoru? Creative license is one thing, but anyone who's watched Sailor Moon knows that such a betrayal is not plausible. All should bash Relena! Anyone ever wonder why Americans call them bangs and Brits call it fringe? I call it hair in your eyes. If it isn't long enough to be in your eyes, it looks kind of funkitated. Yes, funkitated. There are points where you should not go past the line, particularly with slash pairings in Harry Potter fics. I can tolerate the Draco-and-Harry stuff because it's funny. The Sirius-and-Remus stuff is odd but fairly reasonable. Beyond that no mortal should venture. It is a frightening world on the other side of those gates. My friends and I have been watching Gundam Wing on DVD, and we have come to the conclusion that, much as we love him, Duo is a slut. In the series, you get the strong impression that Duo has slept with Heero, Quatre, and Hilde, in addition to probably propositioning Wufei (who of course turned him down). Quatre, sadly, gives the impression of sleeping with Duo and Trowa before he learns either of their names. We do not believe that he slept with Heero. We do believe that Heero and Trowa never slept together because they got into a fight over who would be on top. And those are my opinions of the blatant yaoi in Gundam Wing. I still love it, though. Until I re-watched the series, I was slightly afraid that my dislike of Relena was mostly residual from reading so many 1x2 fics. Then I watched the series again and was relieved to discover that I really just didn't like her, mostly because she comes off as a psycho. The only cool thing Relena ever did was pull a gun on Lady Une. And if you pronounce Une's name the way they do in the show, that rhymed. I am not and have never been on any form of drugs. Stop looking at me like that. Next on the list... Somebody explain to me how the EdxEnvy thing even started? I mean, WTF! Yet it seems to have a fairly strong fandom... (shudders) I say Royai must rock on! Chatspeak, when used in fiction to substitute for actual words, is both idiotic and evil... it burns my eyes. I'm kind of starting to like Relena just a tiny bit now, but mostly fic-Relena, not series-Relena. And am I the only author who occasionally feels as though they are unintentionally making fun of their writing style in their own story? Changing the subject again: I've noticed that I really like Azula. I don't like to pair her with anyone if I can help it, but her character fascinates me. Long live the villainess! My friend and I were watching a Naruto AMV to "Poor Unfortunate Souls" (Jonas Brothers version: heck yes) and at the part where it says "she who holds her tongue gets her man" (or something like that) I went, "So Hinata's the only one who's going to get a man?" Because of course Hinata is the only girl in Naruto who's quiet and doesn't beat up on the boys she's friends with. Seriously, she is. I really wonder if Mike and Bryan know what they did to the Zutara fans when they made Katara impersonate the Painted Lady. Because BluePaint is our new frontier, and now there's really no going back... The plural of "ninja" is still "ninja". No one can give me a satisfactory argument to the contrary, and I get annoyed when I see people use the word "ninjas" as the plural. Grr. Anyone else ever notice with the exception of Zutara, the Avatar pairing names almost always start with the girl's name? Seriously: Taang, Sukka, Maiko, Yuokka, Kataang, Smellershot... so what does that say about Jetko? It obviously took me a while, but I am now a "Rocket-shipper". Come on, you know exactly what I'm referencing. 'Cause we're all still waiting for Jessie and James to give up on stealing Pikachu and just start making out with each other.
I suppose you're wondering about me now... tough. I'm female, kinda crazy (cough understatement cough), and very easily amused. Most of the time. My penname is Japanese, and roughly translated it means "mist flower." So you can call me Misty. Phrases from shows I have watched tend to creep into my speech patterns, so don't be surprised if I randomly quote just about any cartoon. I also have a tendency to act several years younger than I actually am. That's about all I'm going to give you.

Except that I didn't mean to actually breed anything from those two, because technically they were brother and sister from a previous breeding project (from a Typhlosion named Zuko and a Vaporeon named Katara, in fact). I figured since the daycare center guy said they didn't really like each other, I'd be safe and could level them up without really doing anything. They ended up producing four eggs, and I named the last Eevee that hatched from them Hyuugacest. He has a quiet nature, and he really did hatch when I was in one of the ditch-type things along Route 109. Yeah.
"No, Zexy! You're too short for the short end!" - My best friend and I RP as Zexion and Demyx frequently... even when we're at a waterpark. I meant to say that she was too short for the deep end (which she is), but my brain and my mouth briefly disconnected.

My favorite animes/manga (and characters(/pairings when relevant) from them) are (in no particular order):
Avatar: The Last Airbender- Even though this is technically a cartoon, it's under anime, so... I am a firm Zutara, Taang, and Sukka fan. I also like Azula, just because she's awesome and the best cartoon villainess ever.
Gundam Wing- Duo and Quatre are my favorite characters, while 1x2 and 3x4 are my favorite pairings. I also enjoy 6x9 and 5xS. I'm not a 1xR person by any means, but I try not to bash Relena as much as I used to.
Yami no Matsuei- TsuzukixHisoka. 'Nuff said.
Inuyasha- My personal favorites would be Miroku and Sango, both as a pairing and just as characters. They're extremely amusing.
Yuyu Hakusho- Kurama and Hiei. They don't have to be paired together, but I certainly don't object to it.
Naruto- Temari is definitely my favorite character, and ShikaTem is my OTP. I also adore (well-written) SasuSaku, NaruHina, ChouIno, GaaLee, and KibaShino. Just be thankful that I reserve the yaoi for minor characters.
Digimon- Haven't made any attempts to watch the new season, but I probably will eventually. For now, I ship Taito, no matter how Season Two actually ended, and just a touch of Takouji for fun.
Please Save My Earth- I am a huge fan of the manga of this little known series. The anime was decent, but the manga has many more humorous elements, and you all may have noticed I like that sort of thing. Issei is a doll, and I like him with Jinpachi or with Sakura.
Ouran High School Host Club- All must love the twins, and that's all I have to say.
Death Note- I ship LxLight at the moment, but I have no issues with LightxMikami. Particularly since English-dub-voice-wise, it's totally just Quatre and Trowa all over again. Also big fan of MattxMello!
Cartoons/Video Games:
Teen Titans- BBxRae all the way. No one will ever convince me otherwise.
X-Men: Evolution- I love Nightcrawler, and not just because his voice actor also played Quatre in Gundam Wing.
Kingdom Hearts- I haven't actually played any of the games. I know what happens, though, and I am a total Organization XIII fangirl. I ship 6x9, 1x7, 8x13, 11x12, and a little 2x3 for the hell of it. Also Sora x Riku.
I am also a Harry Potter fan and occasionally a Power Rangers fan. Oh, and I love Miyazaki movies! Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle are the best! Last but far from least, I am a fan of RENT, Wicked, Les Miserables, Camelot, and Phantom of the Opera (not in that order). And I don't know how the heck I forgot Star Wars! I've been into that for years (ever since Episode I, which I saw because I wanted to know what the big deal was), but I don't read the fanfics that often. Maybe I'll start... I tend to only review something if I have something to say, even if that something is "I love this!" But just because I don't review a chapter doesn't mean I didn't like it; it just means I couldn't think of anything that I just had to say.
I have lots of favorite pairings, but I'm pretty usually open-minded about them (within reasonable limits, since I like to maintain what sanity I have left) and do not always object to shonen-ai/yaoi (obviously, what with the KH, Gundam and Naruto pairings). Not really a yuri fan though... hm. I have a lot of original characters as well, but when I looked at them again they all came off as Mary-Sues and were thrown out the metaphorical window.
As for what I read, I like funny things. Something to do with the way my mind works. Thus, much of what I write is intended to be humorous. Unless I'm in a psycho-dramatic bad mood or something. Then you get drama and character deaths (like in The Raven Cycle and certain parts of Fire and Ice). I like writing death scenes, but I hate killing off characters. Strange, huh?

Bloodline- (3/03/08) Naruto AU. Getting "kidnapped" by a vampire was the last thing Sakura Haruno expected to happen. Now she's learning about Sasuke Uchiha's world, while her friend Naruto does everything he can to get her back... even if it means teaming up with the vampire-hunting Hyuuga family. SasuSaku, NaruHina, ShikaTem, NejiTen. Mostly the first one. What can I say, I like vampires. Rated T, more for Shikamaru and Naruto's language than anything else. Mostly Naruto's right now, but Shika's later. I've checked, and I didn't find anything that's anything like what I'm planning. Yay for me finally being original! Or more original, anyway. And yes, I know I have at least three other stories I should be working on instead of starting a new one. I just like this too much. Chapter Seven is up, Chapter Eight is in the works.
Shaping the World- (6/17/08) A:TLA, sequel to Sense and Sensibility. Azula's loose, Katara's got news for Zuko, Aang's fallen in love with his best friend, and irony kicks ass. Drama and humor galore, with of course plenty of romance. Chapter Eight is up, Nine in the works! As a result of hearing the song "Mordred's Lullaby" by Heather Dale, I have re-done half the plot of this story... so updates might take a little while. But I am working on it!
Tapestry- (3/06/08) Naruto drabble series-thingy. Eleventh piece has Naruto and Hinata late for their own wedding, and Neji sent to find them. Twelfth piece is about Kiba and Shino as friends. Thirteenth piece is about the Sand Sibs and their relationship with each other. Fourteenth piece is about how Temari actually likes rain. I'm vaguely planning on doing more wedding drabbles, in addition to something for any birthdays that come up and maybe some stuff about children.
Ember- (it's been a while) Already posted Avatar one-shot, soon to become a bit of a dump for drabbles and poetry (fear it!) and whatever else I feel like putting there.
Only One- (5/8/07) I've taken this off hiatus, even though I haven't actually technically updated it yet. I did re-format all of the current five chapters, though. I'm thinking about re-writing most of the chapters I already have, but I don't think it will be a major over-haul like Fire and Ice. I'll just change a few details that I don't like anymore. Updates are going to come slowly as I work on the plot, maybe edit the chapters, and probably change the ending.
The Alphabet Series- a series of (so far) Duo-centric Gundam Wing one-shots appearing as separate stories. Semi-intelligent but mostly mindless humor. I take requests! Leave it in a review for one of the finished ones, 'kay? Upcoming installments include C is for Coconuts and a few other things people suggested.
B is for Bullet- Duo decides to find out if a rubber bullet will bounce off a rubber wall.
D is for Dessert- Duo prefers to eat his sprinkles without ice cream, thank you.
F is for Funk- Duo finds out what Wufei really does in the training room every afternoon.
G is for Gum- Duo has an accident that could cost him his hair.
L is for Luck- Duo suggests the group play a friendly game of cards.
M is for Mistletoe- Duo learns why Heero doesn't like mistletoe.
N is for Names- Duo thinks he knows what happened to Heero and Trowa's real names.
P is for Pants- Duo takes Heero's favorite phrase and replaces a key word with "pants."
Q is for Quiet- Turns out there is something that can silence the Shinigami.
S is for Stoic- Something I am blaming on my friend. Duo seeks a reaction from Trowa.
W is for Wasp- A wasp is loose in the G-boys' living room.
Z is for Zombies- Duo tries to get attention while Trowa is watching TV.

Just Shut Up- set of Naruto AU high-schoolish one-shots that more or less form a story. Being a teenager sucks to begin with. Lazy jerks correcting your homework over your shoulder, cheerful track stars with bowl-cuts, and your typical romance issues don't help much. My usual preferred pairings, naturally. That means ShikaTem, SasuSaku, NaruHina, a smidge of ChouIno, and KibaShino. I like what I have of this so far; the ShikaTem moments are extremely fun to write.
Fire and Ice- working/old title for a Gundam Wing AU. Actually to be a re-posting of a sort-of old story, but I've revamped (ha! Is funny because fic involves vampires) and changed and improved it. Still, I think I'll try and finish something else before this goes up. Don't ask what, but something. Heck, at the rate I'm going I might even have this finished before I post it. Which for you means weekly updates. You should be happy about that.
One of Those Things- Avatar fic, post-series. I have the idea, but I don't really want to work-work on it until after the series actually ends and things are confirmed.
(No Title Yet)- My first KH fic! Though the only thing that's settled is the pairings...
If I Call Her Beautiful, Something Might Explode- The very first story I posted and finished on this site will soon be getting a face-lift... and some major plastic surgery. All for the better, I promise you, but if you're reading this and are interested now, you can check out the original version, which will remain posted until I have finished the re-write. Which will be a while...
And whatever random one-shots not associated with the Alphabet Series that may occur to me. You know, if I got a really good idea for it, I might do a Sailor Moon fic.
