He did many experiments on Jak with 'Dark Eco', a very deadly, unstable substance that many in their world fear because of it's destructive nature. After two years, Jak was broken out of Prison by his friend Daxter, but now he has a deadly other side: Dark Jak. It's uncontrollable, un-tamable, bloodthirsty, and haunts Jak every day he exists.
