Author has written 2 stories for Stargate: Atlantis.

(stargate_addict = Meridith. Same person, peoples. Glad to have cleared that up. :D)

I've recently joined the Dark Side (a.k.a. McShep Slash).

-hangs head at disgusting lack of self-discipline-

But they had Rodney! And John! And chocolate! (... no, not like that! Sheesh. Dirty minds, people.)

But seriously, how could I resist? ;)

'Course, I still like gen. Just the, ah, occasional mcshep. Heh. :D

I remember when I first realized that I was a complete geek.

It happened when I received a chapter alert from one of the best stories out there (SGC Gategirl, this is all your fault!) I got hyper-excited… and did NOT squeal like an airhead. I didn’t! Anyway, the point is I got more excited about that story than if I had gotten – chocolate.-

Hey, people! That was your cue to gasp - hence the dramatic pause?

Oh, right, I forgot… no-one’s actually reading this…

It was then - Are you paying attention? Then as in when I got the fanfic e-mail! Duh.- that I saw the carefully crafted fabric of my reputation crumble! All pretense of “coolness” evaporated!

In hindsight, maybe my “coolness” was a product of long-coveted delusions. Humor me.

It seemed that I had descended into the inky realm of geekdome. As I bemoaned my fate and wondered - how in the world could this have happened? Anyway, while lamenting over the newfound geekiness was going on, I found that I was perfectly happy with it.

Perfectly happy in the world of dorkiness (which happens to be quite bright, by the way) and had absolutely no intention of ever trying to leave. In fact, all I wanted to do was go and read the story that started this all- therefore sinking deeper into the quagmire of dorkdome.

It was then that I realized I was a complete geek-

-well beyond any chance of redemption.

1. Yin and Yang reviews
In which Rodney gets tatoo'd, John has good ideas, and the author is a hopeless romantic. Go figure. Light McShep, rated T to be safe. NOTE: Reposted from another account because I'm a dork.
