Hmmm, I haven't got a clue as to what to say here, but it's just so depressing looking blank... So here it goes, at least the basics. I'm female, Argentinian, so my first language isn't English, though I prefer to read and write in English. Got hooked on Harry Potter fan fiction about two years ago and I started writing my own fic a couple of months ago when I couldn't find anymore HPLV stories to read. It's the first thing I've ever written. I have no aspirations to become a writer, it's only a hobby.

My favorite pairings are Harry with any Slytherin, with Voldemort or Lucius Malfoy preferably. Though finding good fics with those pairings is a hard task. I also like Harry with Snape or Draco. Hate to see him with Ginny or Hermione. My favorite fics are AU, where Harry is more interesting than in the original books. I like to see him with some brains and powers, not just a good boy who follows Dumbledore's lead blindly. I like fics which start from the beginning and give Harry's life a different twist, may it be that he's adopted by someone or gets into Slytherin or turns dark. I love fics that are written from the Dark side's point of view, the dark characters are much more interesting in my opinion. I love it when Snape gets to be his father figure or even Voldemort, though I prefer Voldemort for a good angst-ridden pairing. Besides Harry, I have also read good fics with Hermione as the main character, but not being a goody-goody two shoes, but a witch with power and preferably paired with a dark wizard.

My favorite fic so far has been the series of books written by Lightning on the Wave. Though Harry opposes Voldemort in those fics, they are so well written, original and full of twists and complicated plot, that it blew my mind away. So if you haven't read the fics, I highly recommend them.
