I am Lue.

No, I don't know why I picked this name. I forgot...

My age? I forgot that too. I lost count at some age I can't remember.

Alright, I'm fourteen.

Oh, now I remember why I picked Lue.

It's shorter than eyes of the infinite galaxy.

And I don't know why I picked eyes of the infinite galaxy.

Actually this stuff matters as much to me as it does to you, which is very little mattering at all. But I figured I had to discuss something on my profile, so yes, in a way I'm just saying this because I have nothing else to say... XD Alright, I've got a one thing to say that actually matters here, I'll just get to it:

I'm a Kranna fan. Kvar and I agree, it's such a wonderful tale. Why's that...? Actually, we've got the same reason. It ends up with a broken Kratos. Kvar likes that because he's sadistic, I think, I like it because the stir of emotions is pretty painful and burrows deep. Once a story begins manipulating saddness and pain at that level, it's got a presence and significance that no one can really laugh at. There's nothing funny you can pick at about loss. All the ironies aren't amusing, like the fact that even though Kratos is an angel with wings and should be able to protect someone from gravity, he lost his family because they fell. Those little factoids just make the loss all the more painful. This story has weight. That's why I like it, in short. It's heavy, puts a bit of pressure on the reader's heart. It leaves an impression upon impact. And the best part of all, it's eternal. The second you meet Kratos, you know he'll always carry that burden of loss and never return to who he was. The fact that it's heavy and eternal, makes it powerful. And that's just looking at the result. If the impact on Kratos it had was that great, imagine how great Anna must've been. It was a great loss, so what was lost must've been just as great. And that is why Kranna is great

and Kraine is not. Kraine damamges Kranna in the sense that Kranna was so powerful it left Kratos damaged and irrevertable to who he once was. If Kratos recovers... it makes Kranna painful, but not painful enough to give it that presence and significance I was talking about. It doesn't do justice to who he's become. If he could free himself from the past, Kratos wouldn't be Kratos. Besides, Raine doesn't have that interest in Kratos... it'd be almost uncharacteristic if she did. She doesn't like trusting people, and if she doesn't like that, she won't like trusting Kratos after he ditches the group. Unless she considers Kratos a ruin...

Some Krainers try grabbing at the fact that Anna would want Kratos to be happy and Kraine would make him happy. If anna was alive to wish for something like that Kratos would be a new man, but Kratos recognizes her to be dead and considers her gone. "She would want" makes it conditional to her living. Besides... Kratos... happy? As I said... I thought his character was all about the opposite: sadness, remorse, anger even. I think he's meant to have a tragic end.

... That sounded overly cruel.

The point is, I'm not just saying I don't like Kraine because I'm a Kranna fan. I also believe Kraine ruins some wonderfully sad and powerful aspects in Kratos' character and history, and even the theme of the game. Ruin. Yes, RUIN.

I don't like the idea of Kratos falling in love again.

Because he can't.

Although it's hard to tell, Kratos' heart died a couple years back.

The ironic part is Anna's didn't.

See? I'm telling you, these ironies aren't even amusing, they just add to the weight.

That's what I wanted to say, anyway. I like saying stuff that I wanna say.

Oh, I collect quotes too.
