I've been writing since I was 15 and since I have had to overcome dyslexia, I've come a long way since then. I'm currently a junior in collage and taking classes full time (heavy load). I'm majoring in History and Psychology and so love weaving history and/or psychology into my stories. Personality and character development is my favorite part of fanfic writing, wanting to know more about movie/book characters is why I write/read fanfiction. I tent to diciest the characters I write, digging into their past and figuring out what made them who they are in the cannon. As for the cannon I'm a big believer in sticking to it. I'm not trying to turn Captain Jack or Wolverine into Mr, Perfect for a self insert OC, I'm trying to uncover their history and psychology as the original writer made them. My goal in fanfiction is to stay as true to cannon as I can and I don't do non-cannon ships, nor do I stick OCs where they don't belong.

The fandoms I write are listed above and I only read what I write. Currently I'm clicking around the X-Men circles, but I still have some Pirate and Potter ideas on the back shelf of my mind.

The genres I like best are adventure, comedy, family and at times angst. Oh and western. I'm a sucker for the old west.

I do NOT do romance. For one thing that's where the worst Mary Sues lurk and another thing romance is really hard to write well and so often is written horribly. No offense, but most fanfic writers, (including me) are amateurs and can't pull it off. Besides, it seems to be such a stupid fanfic fad to ship every character under the sun. I wouldn't be surprised if their was a JackSparrow/Jaws(the shark) ship out there somewhere.

My favorite characters are:

The Marauders in HP, especially Remus and Sirius (but not together! I never read slash)

Jack Sparrow in POTC, especially in pre-cannon stories. Jack has such a mysterious past!

Logan and Victor in X-Men. I loved the brother connection the origins movie made.

Ficfiction Principles:

I will stay as true to the cannon as I can.

I will try to never write a Mary Sue and will certainly not ship her unrealistically with my favorite cannon character.

I will never leave a story incomplete.

When I leave reviews, I will try to make them both encouraging and helpful and they will be longer than one sentence.

When I receive reviews I will reply to them, thank the reviewer and answer any questions/suggestions they may have given.

I will try to support authors who faithfully support me.
