Author has written 58 stories for Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, Firefly, Stargate: SG-1, and Battlestar Galactica: 2003.

This account is now almost exclusively for archive purposes; any new story other than my WIP "Compromised" is posted over at my Livejournal account.

I have many fandoms, but I don't necessarily write in all of them, or at least not all at the same time. I haven't written in LOTR or Silmarillion in a long time, for instance, but all my old writings are from those two—currently I'm involved in writing for Firefly/Serenity, Stargate SG-1, and Battlestar Galactica. I love Simon and River most in the first (also Kaylee), Daniel and Sam in the second (also the Tok'ra and Vala), and Anders and Starbuck in the third (also Helo and Leoben) so any writings will probably center around them, but include lots of favorite minor characters. I ship Simon with Kaylee or Inara, and don't really ship River at all, though very occasionally I enjoy a Rayne story. I multiship all over the place in Stargate and Battlestar Galactica, but probably will not write all of them; my primary ships for writing are Daniel/Vala, Sam/Martouf, Vala/Tomin, and Sam/Daniel for Stargate; and Sam/Kara and Helo/Athena in Battlestar Galactica. My tendency is for a lot of friendshipping, though, or just plain gen fic.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Lord of the Rings movies, but prefer bookverse above all. My favorite character is Faramir, by far, with Eowyn and Merry tying for second, and followed closely by Boromir, Eomer, Denethor and anyone else from Gondor or Rohan. Faramir is rather a problem with me...he sneaks into nearly every story I write, whether as a main character (The Call of Duty), a minor character (Bedtime Routine), mentioned heavily (In Between Two Worlds) or mentioned in passing (Sparring With Pens). I also love the Silmarillion, where my favorite character is Feanor, followed closely by Tuor, Turin, and Maglor.

If you don't notice from reading my stories, I often have opinions about characters and canon that are not the typical ones accepted by fandom - not necessarily radically different, but sometimes different enough to be "heretical". They are the result of much (probably too much) time spent examining everything from different points of view. Basically, I don't believe in happily-ever-after, but neither do I believe in a completely dark world - I strive for a happy realism. Also, I'm a psychology enthusiast, so that greatly influences my views on characters and relationships.

If you have any question about my writing or characters that is not addressed here or in author's notes, feel free to ask in a review or private message. I will happily answer any questions! I enjoy all polite reviews at any time, whether positive, negative, or merely to ask a question.
