Hi!

Wife, mother, journalist, outdoorsy sort, dog lover – fanfiction is my guilty pleasure!

I am an avid reader of fanfiction here on this site. As a great believer in praise where praise is due, I am also an avid reviewer but my policy is that of Thumper’s mother (er...that’s in Bambi folks!), “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.”

My greatest (compulsive addiction) love is for Supernatural - Brilliantly conceived, written, acted and executed. For me the show’s writers get it right just about all the time and I trust them. However, I do love the fact that fics here can give so much more! More depth, more back story, more characterisation, more angst, more hurt, comfort and brotherliness. I suppose I’m a Dean girl mostly but love them both, obviously. Oh, and since I live in Winchester in the UK, my destiny is clearly linked with theirs!

There are so many wonderful writers in the SPN fandom – thank you all for your beautiful, brilliant, unique, painful, hilarious stories. I'm so happy to have made many lovely, witty, oh-so-talented acquaintances here.

Otherwise, I also follow many other great American dramas: 24; LOST; CSI (Vegas & NY – never Miami); The West Wing (Oh, I do miss it) Numb3rs; Without a Trace (RIP); Battlestar Galactica (gone but never forgotten) ...actually most series that have a great team, and particularly “brotherly”, element.

So that’s me. As you can see, I have tried my hand at a couple of fics but cannot quite bring myself to dip into my beloved Supernatural for fear of not being able to do the boys justice, but who knows, maybe one day...
