So it's been a long time since I've posted anything...in case anybody noticed. I actually do have a piece in progress--it's currently around 5000 words--and I work on it when I can, but school is crazy, life is busy, and time is in short supply. It doesn't help that, when I do have a few spare moments, forcing myself to sit down and write something is becoming increasingly difficult. However, I haven't abandoned anything. I'll post whenever I finish this piece (or whatever happens to write itself) and then just continue as inspiration strikes. Hopefully, that moment won't be too long from now. --1/2/2008

I'm a college student in the southeastern United States. Though I attend a university famous for its engineering and science, I very much enjoy my English class on Early Modern English Revenge Tragedies.

I've thought about linking my LiveJournal (which I write in at random, extended intervals) as my homepage, but I've yet to muster the necessary courage--maybe someday.

Things that I love:

-Jesus.
-My family.
-Friends…are amazing.
-To laugh…Ha ha, ha ha…loud and long and clear…
-Writing.
-Making lists of my favorite punctuation marks. (The dash is forever number one.)
-Analyzing myself (the amount of pleasure generated by personality tests…).
-Pepperoni pizza.
-Birthday cake.
-Libraries.
-Being an overachiever.
-Using proper grammar at all times.
-The sound made when opening a new can of tennis balls.
-Snow.
-Shakespeare.
-Setting my clock five minutes ahead of the actual time (and still being late).
-Quilts/blankets.
-Thanksgiving barbeques.
-Never disappointing anyone.
-Poetry by Emily Dickinson or Edgar Allan Poe.
-Headbands.
-Deep voices.
-Blazing fires in big brick fireplaces.
-Staying up late doing nothing.
-Assigning pets, characters, and teddy bears horribly long, old-fashioned names.
-Hugs.
-Broccoli.
-Being right.
-Driving my car along the road to my island home on clear nights with little traffic.
-Using large, obscure words.
-Roasting marshmallows.
-Daydreaming.
-Proving a point.
-Being a Daddy’s girl.
