I'll say it upfront- I'm not a great writer, but it's okay because it's something that can be improved. Why else do we write other than for our own and others' pleasure?

About me: female. early 20s, in college, from NJ. I'm a big nerd, but that's okay- many people are. If I like a certain band, theme, fandom, tv show- whatever- I tend to like it in it's extreme. Meaning, I have to know everything about it, have to see everything, read everything, etc.

It's obvious from what I've wrote one of my favorite fandoms is the DC Comics/Superman fandom. I really became a fan when in 2006 Superman Returns hit the theatres. I think I saw it three times now that I think about it. From there a friend of mine introduced me to DC Comics, and I've been reading weekly stuff ever since. Some are misses, but a lot are hits and it's a colorful, super-powered soap opera that won't die down anytime soon.

Along with the comics, I've seen the other Superman films (take my word on it and don't watch Superman 3 or 4, seriously, just don't lol) and have seen Lois and Clark the new Adventures of Superman (yay 90s romance/comedy shows!) and I also watch Smallville with devotion. I've really come to love Erica Durance's portrayal of Lois Lane in it and I think the next season will be awesome because of it.

Did I mention I'm a die-hard Clois shipper? Clark Kent and Lois Lane, any fandom be it tv, comics or movie. :)

So yes. I don't write fic often, it just pops up in my head and demands to be written. I haven't any ideas at the moment, but hopefully you'll see something soon. I don't post any Smallville stories here, because apparently they're OC and some people are twits. Sorry.

To my fellow writers- you're all wonderful, and I'm glad you've all shared your work! Hopefully we'll get a new Superman movie in 2010! :P
