More Like Guidelines Than Actual Rules I've set up an advice/critique thing here dealing with fanfiction which is related to Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, and/or Ned Kelly.

Kingdom of Heaven Fanfiction Awards! (The KoHFA's) This is an inaugral competition for people who write KoH fanfiction. I'd like to have it as a yearly event, but I'll have to see how this year's goes. Even if you haven't written any stories for KoH, you can still nominate them and vote. Nominations close on 2 October 2008 and voting begins on the same date. See you there!

Yeah well, you can probably see that I am an avid OB fan. I love epic movies and I can't stand Shakespeare. I'm in my late teens (come on, you really thought that I would tell you my exact age?!) and I live on an island country close to Antarctica. (Hint: it's not Australia) I'm into mad crazy crossover stories and I've no patience for Mary-Sues. I thrive on good stories and I can be really insane if I'm in a strange mood. Oddly enough, my friends call me the 'Voice of Reason', which is actually an improvement from 'Dictionary Girl' (due to the fact I used to carry a dictionary in my bag all the time). I love Balian from 'Kingdom of Heaven'. He is the best! Not to mention he's my muse as well and so is (Captain) Jack Sparrow. Those two don't really get along that well. Jack inspires all the weird jokes that are in my stories. I also love Legolas, but Balian is just so awesome.
My friends don't understand my infatuation, so half of my life is online. In my spare time, I usually write/journal/draw/read/listen to music/dance to music/watch movies. I used to do some horse riding but due to the escalating prices, I've quit. Also used to play some music, but found out that I lacked the patience and dedication, and the incentive to practise, so I quit that as well. Hmmm, anything else about me that people might be interested in? I don't think so. I'm a relatively stable and boring person, apart from that wild imagination. Hopefully one day Imight be able to put that to good use and write a screenplay (that's my dream) I spend most of my time writing something so there's nothing much to talk about really. If you read my stories, please review! I love reviews! They brighten up my day and tell me what I can improve or what I can do more of.
I have two muses, who usually contradict each other. One is the ever honourable and upright Balian of Ibelin, and the other is Jack...all right, all right, Captain Jack Sparrow (he does the jokes). The trademark of my stories are crazy impossible situations and really weird/lame jokes. My goal in life is to make people think and laugh, at the same time if possible.
Anyway, enough rambling and if you actually read all of that, you must be very bored.

Refia's MST and Parody Paradise Due to the fact that MST's and parodies have been banned on LordoftheRingsfanfiction, many of us have come to this forum to post MSTs and parodies, as well as other things. Let's just say it's a statement for the freedom of speech. People have the right to write bad fiction. People also have the right to mock bad fiction, the writers who write them and are unwilling to take advice of any sort.
