I know what it feels like to feel alone in a room full of people, to feel unworthy of happiness or kindness, to think yourself alone in life. I'm not saying I have all the answers, but I've been depressed for five years now, so I understand. If you are reading this and feel like there's no hope, there is. Email me, read my blog, read my stories - just contact me. I know what it's like to not want to wake up in the morning. But I'm still here.
My Email Address:
Love: It hurts, but everyone deserves a happy ending. Mostly, that comes through finding someone that can make you want to live.
Life: You live, you die, you have some fun in between. Stick by your morals, stay true to your values, and the rest will come to you.
School: You are worth more than any number. Don't let your grade define you. You are defined by yourself. The day you figure out what that means, you've been given a wonderful education.
No one is a failure who is a friend.
"This is a life lesson: take it a step at a time." -Mr. Lehmann
The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with yourself - Mark Twain
The greatest griefs are silent.
"Don't bail, the best gold is at the bottom of barrels of crap."
"'Live each day as if it's your last', that was the conventional advice, but really, who had energy for that? It just wasn't practical. Better by far to simply try and be good and courageous and bold and to make a difference. Not change the world exactly, but the bit around you. go out there with your passion and your electric typewriter and work hard at...something. Change lives through art maybe. Cherish your friends, stay true to your principles, live passionately and fully and well. Experience new things. Love and be loved, if you ever get the chance."
"We are male and female. We are artists, athletes, students, and business owners. We have depression, DID, PTSD, eating disorders, borderline personalities, bipolar disorder, or maybe no diagnosis at all. Some of us were abused, some were not. We are straight, bi, and gay. We come from all walks of life and can be any age. We are every single race or religion that you can possibly think of. Our common link is this: We are in pain. We self-injure. And we are not freaks."
If you ever need or want to talk, I'm here. I always answer those who need me. I don't have to know you, but if you give me a chance, I will.
