Ok since everyone (just about) writes useful things here, I figured I would try something more... informational. You would think for an author this should be easy right? Not so much.

Occupation: Army Contractor, which basically means I sit on my ass and play online all day while sometimes working for the Army JAG Corps/OTJAG.
Hobbies: Obviously I love ShizNat. They're my favorite obsession. Other then that my life is mostly video games, but even then I find I don't have much time for them anymore. Though I own about 12 games I need to beat before I let myself buy anymore... @_@
Weird obsessions: Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi, and Byakuya from Bleach. Sigh, do I fail at being a lesbian? They're just so pretty...
Weakness: energy drinks, being overly nice and too giving, buying things I'll never do anything with on a whim
Strengths: i think my stubbornness is a strength, though it may frustrate the hell out of others. but i like to accomplish what i set my mind to.
Books: The picture I have set as my avatar is my latest tattoo (#5) which is a representation of Phedre's marque from the Kushiels Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey. It's the most amazing book series ever written. I worked in a book store for almost 4 years as a merchandising supervisor and am VERY obsessed with making books look "pretty". It's a very obsessive-compulsive talent of mine, but I'm awesome at it.
Superheroes: Wonder Woman. DC > Marvel any day. Yeah, I said it.
I plan on enlisting in the military in the next 6 months, so I hope to finish up any loose ends I have with the unfinished stories I have, so I may not be venturing into anything new but who knows. I would actually like to start working more on some of my original writings, but I think I need a replacement muse. ._.
Also, because I cannot resist, this is my favorite description of Shizuru ever. As taken from Windows of the Soul by Lestaki:
Shizuru’s eyes were blank but focused, terrifying. In her face and in her voice, they both recall her sublime blankness and security of purpose. It’s the same look she wore so much in the Carnival. You will die. That is because I wish you to die. I will humour you for a minute, or for five, or a day, but the moment I apply myself you will disappear from this world. My voice is a prophecy. That was everything laid on her words, and because it’s Shizuru saying it, you could almost believe she was the one in control, and not them. That it’s really that way, she really is just humouring them, and when she’s bored she will raise her hands, form her weapon and summon her Child, and they will simply die.
I hope to one day be able to write about the Shizuru described right there, and make it even half as convincing as Lestaki did.
Also in super cool news - I've just signed up for Naginatajutsu and Kyudo classes. I'm super excited but between training for the military, work, class, and video games, I'm not sure how much time/energy I'll have to devote to writing. However I am currently working on a new Rin/Sakura fic - Girl Disappearing.
