Ah... the summer is here and once again I've decided to update this little profile of mine. So, on with the info! My name is Arielle, I'm 17 and will be legal in 4 months. I'm an english major at a college prep high school in Philadelphia, PA. I love writing and have been known to have plot bunnies attack me on more than one occasion. I actually do want to become a writer in some for or another. Either being a journalist or maybe a english/writing teacher for a high school. The problem with me is I get well...obsessed with either books, television, or a movie and must read fan fiction to control my appetite. And of course as I read these lovely stories my own ideas blossom and all I want to do it write something to bring the characters I've fallen in love with back to life. This also means that I start something and then I suddenly get pulled into something else and never actually finish a project. Well I've come to the conclusion that I will start over. For here on I will try my hand at one shots and see hows that works for me. Please me patient with me of course... I know that the mind of a 17 year old can be a bit...ADD? The following are genres I'm interested in and MIGHT write a little something for... 1. Supernatural: I've wrote for this fantastic show before, only finished one story and to tell the truth, it wasn't that good. My writing skills weren't matured and, and to tell the truth still are not, but I'm working on it. The one story that I will keep up is my Teen!Chester "Toucan Sam". I've been looking over it and I think I might be able to work something out. 2. So summer T.V. usually isn't that great. Recently, however, I have fallen in love with the show "The Listener" on NBC (and CTV for any Canadians out there). It's a great sci-fi mystery show with a very attractive leading actor. I have a few ideas cooking in my head but I'm not sure if they're going to be turned into anything. 3. Merlin: Another brought to American for summer T.V. I'm a fan of BBC, specially "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood". You add my love for wizards and magic and of course I was going to make an effort and watch it. Of course of the following I will also read so if you think you have a good story in any of the genres listened above then be my guest and send me the link, I'll be more than happy to give it a read over. Well thank you for reading and actually paying attention to a high schooler with a plot bunnie problem, I believe you have made my day. With love, Lighthousewatcher (Arielle) | |||||||||||
