Okay. I have a new obsession. Two new obsessions, actually. That has to be a record. The first one is Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Between reading The Iliad, The Odyssey, and The Aeneid for school, reading up on Wiki, and reading the Greek legends in a book that my mom got me when I was twelve, I've accumulated a good deal of knowledge on Greek mythology. And seeing all of the high-and-mighty, dignified gods of The Odyssey in a modern, Humorous light is just too amusing for me to not obsess over. It's stinking hilarious. The author has a stellar sense of humor (if humor can be described as 'stellar') and has a knack for adapting the Greek myths into the modern world. Well done, Rick. Plus, it's being a made into a movie! Unfortunately, it's being done by Fox, so I do have my doubts, but they've got Chris Columbus as a director, so there is hope. Febuary 12th, 2010! I'll be getting my tickets early!

As I said, I have two new obsessions. The second: the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan. In a few words: Will Treaty = EPIC and Halt = UBER EPIC. If you haven't read these books and you are a fantasy and adventure enthusiast, you are missing out. They have to be some of the best books I have ever read. The author has definitely done his research and knows what he's talking about. Great characters, great story, great book. Enough said. Plus, these books are (apparently) also being made into a movie. Gosh, what is it about the books I read being made into movies?! First Narnia, then Eragon, then City of Ember, then Percy Jackson, and now Ranger's Apprentice! Good grief!

Oh, even MORE recently, I have ANOTHER obsession. Now, this one has been around in some form or fashion for over forty years, but I'm just now discovering it. Can anyone guess? Hmm? Drumroll... Star Trek! Yes, It's true, I'm a Trekkie. Or Trekker. Or whatever you want to call it. At anyrate, the obsession started when my sister finally dragged me to go see Star Trek Reboot (That's the 2009 version for all those non-trekkies out there) and I loved it. I went home, read some fanfiction, looked at practically every Spock-related deviation on DeviantArt, and watched some TOS (The Orginal Series) on Youtube. I think I am officially obsessed. My favorite character is undoubtedly Spock, followed by Kirk and McCoy, in no particular order. With any hope, I'll find some time to write some Star Trek fanfictions in the future.

The Voice of the Lion: Well, I was randomly (very randomly) reading some Narnia inspired poetry, and so I decided to write one of my own. I am not very much of a poet, but I put in my two cents.

I Live by Faith, Not by Sight: Yay! My long-awaited Narnia story! It took a while, but I'm done! (or am I?)

Drafted: A new story! My very first physical torture story. Hehe. Poor Obi... Oh well. That's what he's there for. Anyway, this is shaping up to be one of my most epic stories! I hope to get this here plot up and into gear soon!

Lost: Okay. I admit it. I have a new fandom favorite. I am completely obsessed (for no apparent reason) with Meet the Robinsons, which I saw for the first time in January of 09. I was reading some fics on the fandom, and this idea popped into my head, so I wrote it down. I wrote it EXTREMELY quickly, so I need to go back and rewrite some parts. It is really sloppy, and not very good, but... Oh well. Please read and review! I plan to write more MTR fics in the future.

The Problem With Keeping Secrets: My second Meet the Robinsons fanfic. This one is a multi-chapter. Not exactly how long it will be, though. Chapter two will be up soon!

Sick Day: I'll admit it, I've got another favorite fandom: Ranger's Apprentice. In this little fic, Will tries to fool Halt into thinking that he's in perfectly good health... Which, of course, he's not. Silly Will.

The Nightmare: A random one-shot that popped into my mind the other day. After dictating nearly half of it to myself while I was in the shower, I wrote it all down, tweaked it, and published it. I figured that Will probably had nightmares after he got back from his 'visit' to Skandia (Who wouldn't, really?) and so I thought it was logical to write this piece. Done!

About me: I am a young teen-aged girl author who loves to make people laugh and cry! Lets see... I've been writing stories since... Well, I think I started writing when I was five... But, two page, size 14 font stories about aliens and such don't really count, I suppose. I got into fanfiction writing after I saw The Lord of the Rings, which I fell in love with immediately. In my LotR stories, I focus mainly around the adoptive family of Aragorn, Elrond, Elladan, and Elrohir, when Estel (or Aragorn) Was a child.I also love to write Star Wars fanfiction, almost exclusively (and so far completely excusively) focusing around the Master/Padawan relationship between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. I mainly write father/son relationship mush, but am bound to write something with some sort of a plot in the future. Lastly, and more recently, I've become obsessed with Percy Jackson. My favorite character is Percy. No, Nico. No, Percy. No, Nico. UGH! I can't decide! Anyway, I hope to have some Percy (and/or Nico) fanfiction published up on here soon.

Favorite Movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Pirates of the Caribbean (1, 2, and 3), Star Wars, The Chronicles of Narnia, both LWW and PC, Ice Age, Cars, Van Helsing, Sahara, and Meet the Robinsons.

Favorite Books: The Chronicles of Narnia, Fairest, Dragon Slippers, Hangman's Curse, and Nightmare Academy (Nightmare Academy is probably my favorite book of all time) And recently, I have become a tad obsessed with 'The Door Within' trilogy and 'The Dragon Keeper Series'. I also looove 'Isle of Swords' and 'Isle of Fire'. Two new absolute favorites of mine are the Percy Jackson series and the Ranger's Apprentice series.
