Okay, I'm better now...

Hello all! So, I am DramioneLurver, the lover of all that is Dramione. But I've also become a lurver of Spuffy, Seddie, Clois, and so many other ships... I've considered changing my name to Glass Only Shatters, but I don't want to confuse anybody. Anyhow, it's a slow process of getting all my stories up, since most of them are in my head or on paper somewhere. Recent health problems and my even more recent start of college didn't help speed that up. Anyway, here's a little about me.

11/2 So, many of my stories have seen a huge lack of updating lately due to (mostly) my freak health over the past year and then the death of my flashdrive a few months ago. My techy best friend is still working on trying to retrieve the information, but until then, I'll be working on new ideas and a couple of my HP fics that I hadn't developed beforehand. College is keeping both of us rather busy (another reason my updating of late has been bad; I just finished up midterms), but I'll keep on working on things. If it comes to it, I'll retype all of my WIPs and start off fresh.

So what's been put on hold until the flashdrive resurrection? -- Bleeding Love, Reverse, Stuck As Classmates, Eenie Meanie Mione Mo!, and All You've Got.

So what will be worked on? -- Starting Over, Chemistry, misc new oneshots and drabbles. Last weekend (being Halloween), was so freaking packed with stuff that I had absolutely no time to even think about posting! I'm SO sorry! This weekend, I'll be posting that chapter of Starting Over and maybe a new oneshot.

Favorites

~movie: so many! But I particularly love Frequency, Back to the Future, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Fugitive. Classics.

~tv series: lots. Alias (number 1!), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Angel ( though not so much the vampire...), Numb3rs, L&O:SVU, NCIS, Chuck, Dark Angel, iCarly (I got hooked while babysitting and Seddie is just so cute!)

~book: way too many... they need to be put into genres to sort out! but I'll list some- And Then There Were None, The Little Princess, Switchers, the Da Vinci Code, the Rule of Four, the Giver, Wuthering Heights, Les Miserables, and so many more.

~book series: (see? totally different catergory) LOTS. Harry Potter, Inhertitance Cycle, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Abhorsen Trilogy, the Work and the Glory, the Children of the Promise, the Tennis Shoes Series, the Midnighters Trilogy, the Uglies Series, Daughters of the Moon, the Dark Jewels Trilogy, Twilight (stopping before Breaking Dawn... I've always been against stories of any kind that included the human character of a human/vampire becoming a vampire) hmmm... I think that's about it...

Draco/ Hermione- I know they'll never be canon, but I actually don't want them to be together in the books. It's just that in fanfic they are soooo good!

Harry/ Ginny- They're good in both books and fanfic! They're just perfect!

James/Lily- I haven't written any Marauder time fics, because there are so many charaters involved that I don't feel I have all their personalities right yet. But I love reading about this cute couple!!

Ron/ Hermione- I tend to prefer not to read them in fanfic. But I do love their relationship in the books!

Tonks/Lupin- I don't know if I want to start 'Awwwww'ing or crying!! But I love them!

(BtVS)

Spike/Buffy- I love them, in the series and in fanfic. It's such a shame that they had such a violent, destructive relationship in the 6th season. Things could have been so good between them!

Joyce/Giles- Band Candy was so funny! It converted me!

Willow/Oz- I was so sad to see Oz go! I wish he hadn't. They were so cute together!

Sam/Freddie- Are you sensing a love for the love/hate relationships? Hehe...

Sydney/Vaughn- Love them in season 1 and 2. Okay, and canon-wise? Love them the rest of the seasons as well... kinda.

Sydney/Weiss- Just, I've been rewatching season 3, and they would have been so cute together then! So if Lauren had turned out, ya know, not evil... I could see Syd getting with Weiss.

Sydney/Sark- Okay, okay. Canon world? Totally Syd and Vaughn... I mean, they're classic. But the fanfic world... I've been pulled into the love/hate-ness of Sarkney! It's just... hello! Have you seen what other ships I ship? Right up my alley.

Jack/Irina- Loved them from the toaster scene on out. Those two episodes with the whole Bristow fam working together in season 2 are definitely up there as my favorites. I just wish... yeah.

(Smallville)

Clark/Lois- Always have, always will. Especially in this show, Clark and Lois rock!

Chloe/Jimmy- They are simply the cutest! Ever since they introduced this couple, I've been in love with them.

Lex/Lana- The only time I actually kind of liked Lana was when she was with Lex. Backwards, I know, but ask me not how my brain works!

hehe... a lot! I love Fred and George. Because they are HILARIOUS! And Ron can be so funny and cute! And Hermione is my study-buddy and we're fellow bookworms. Dumbledore ROCKS SOCKS. Sirius is the BEST EVER! Draco is fun to play with. Ginny can be such a fiery ball of fun. TONKS and her HAIR make the PARTY and you KNOW IT.

SPIKE! Villian, funny guy who's being held captive at a certain watcher's house, buffy's lover-- I love him in every role!! All three? Score! Xander is awesome! He and Spike could be such good friends to each other if they cooled it for a minute. Guys... -sigh- High school Geek Willow was so adorable! I had to laugh at her in a kind, not-mean way. Really, not mean. Promise. More - awwwwwww! Like a little kid!

(Alias)

Marshall is the best ever. He's so funny. Remember the super swank glasses? LOL! Oh man, every time he got around to explaining the op tech, I got a smile on my face. Oh, and that mission when he downloaded Pong! That was awesome!! And bad guy wise? Totally Sark. I mean, he's awesome. Hate him for being so evil and love him for being so cool and just awesome while doing so. Though there's also the woman of the hour, Sydney Bristow herself. I mean, who doesn't like watching chicks kick people's butts? And I'm a chick! She's just sooooo cool! And all her super tight outfits. Like the blue rubber dress! Man, how does she WALK in that, much less run and fight bad guys?! I've always loved the woman of the hour's mom as well. There's no one like Irina. I soooo wanted her to actually be good in the end... Stupid show. Then, of course, there is Jack. -moment of silence- To sum it up: Jack Rocks!

Clark is amazing. I mean, he is Superman! Plus he has a magnificent character in this show. Lois is just awesome. I was so freaking excited when she was brought on. I love the way they've spun her character, especially with the movements towards the classic Superman scenerio. Chloe is the coolest, smartest sidekick ever! Jimmy is so sweet and such an awesome guy! I adore this show's spin of Lex. In the early seasons, I loved how he was Clark's best friend and still a good guy. He has such a complex character in this show, and they did an absolutely fabulous job transforming him into the bad guy.

What I Hate:

~ teacher/student ships (once again, i apologize, but not my thing)

~ Riley! I never liked him. Never, never. Then, after the vampire whores... yup. I felt justified. I knew there was a reason. I have pretty good judge of character if I do say so meself.

~ Lauren! Never liked her either... and after she's revealed to be Covenant... yup. Justification felt once again. But I've officially decided that if she had turned out not Covenant... she would be okay. But evil? Nope. Hatred.

~ Lindsey. He was evil. The worse kind of evil. The thought that there are people out there like him makes me want to puke.

~ Sloan! (evil man, evil man!)

~ Lana. I didn't exactly hate her in the earlier seasons, but time did not my heart fonder make. I guess the pushing point for me really hating her character was that episode when she finds out about Clark's powers and immediately falls back in love with him and dumps Lex like he never mattered to her. Before then, I just hated her pairing with Clark. After that, I hated her character in general. Is it bad? I was actually glad to see her go when that suit forced her to leave Clark. The only reason that scene made me sad was because Clark was in so much pain. It was a beautiful scene...

Completed Stories (the summaries can be found below, so I'll just say a little but about them, since I doubt anyone cares anyway)

Last Dance~ I always wondered what all the different takes on Spike and Buffy's last night before the fight against the First were. This was actually written in the spur of the moment late one night as one version popped into my head. I turned on my light, reached for a pencil and paper, and wrote it out.

Drowning~ Right now it's a oneshot, but I originally planned on going further where it ends now, it just seemed like a good place to wrap up. But I might one day return to it and continue. I have sketchy plans on doing so, I'm just not sure when.

Surprise~ I'm not a Bangel fan by any measure, but this was written for a Btvs exchange. It's mainly my version of the morning after Buffy and Angel do the deed in Season 2. I may return to this later to twist it into a season 2 Spuffy, I'm not sure. As of right now, it's a finished oneshot.

Not Enough~ This was a response to the 1, 2, 3 Challenge at the HPFC (which is a fabulously fun forum, by the by). My prompt was Katie Bell frightens Cho Chang and I immediately knew I wanted to do something around Katie accidentally scaring Cho when she was approaching her to talk to her about something concerning Cho's relationship with Harry. It actually turned out to take place in the middle of OotP, and although it's not my favorite piece, I'm satisfied with the result.

Classmates~ This was written in a matter of seconds, while I was just letting my thoughts wander. This came out. I'm rather fond of it.

When Class is Over~ Ugh, not my favorite. Again written in a matter of minutes, this time while I was staying up very, very late one night.

Out of My Mind~ This was fun to write. And I like the result.

Neckties~ This was a challenge for the Dramione Exchange on LJ. Though technically I never say it has to be Draco... While reading, it could be any Slytherin boy in the year of the trio's class. The only reason it's him is because he's listed as a character. Well, and because of the whole Dramione Exchange thing. =D

Beneath the Willow Tree~ Oh, fun drabble. My first, I think. What's a drabble, you ask? Well, it's a complete story in exactly 100 words. They're rather fun and challenging, so I've grown quite fond of writing them. Though for this piece, I originally planned on writing this whole long thing that was inspiried by this wonderful piece of fanart I saw that basically portrayed what I wrote here... but I could never find the piece of art again and didn't want to write this whole long thing without the source. So I decided to challenge myself to make it a drabble. It was difficult, but I really like the result.

Forbidden Moments~ Another drabble. I was in psychology and bored and started just scribbling in the margins of my notes. Eventually it became this.

Convictions~ My friend adores the Harry/Ginny pairing, and I always wondered how Ginny felt in that short period in HBP when they were together. That, and how she felt the summer after when Harry was at the Burrow, and during the summer after the wedding when the Trio was on their own, and during school her entire sixth year... I might just end up writing more about Ginny...

Forgetting Spells~ This was a simple scene that I could see play out between Draco and Hermione. If you're familiar with the BtVS-verse, it might seem a tad familiar... =D

Shattered Memories, Shattered Hearts~ This is an idea that struck me in psych after writing Forbidden Moments. I just started imagining different ways that the Draco/Hermione relationship could be twisted, and I became instantly attached to this one. I think it would be fun to write a full-fledge story out of a plot similar to this one, but it would definately be at the bottom of my list.

Unspoken~ Well, I told my very best friend to pick a word for me to write a drabble about, and she chose 'freesias.' So, I researched the flower, started writing, and actually ended up with a Ron/Hermione piece. But, hey, cute couple. And it even fits with canon! Go me!

The Worst Luck in the World~ Not my favorite of my own work, but this was built up when I suddenly wondered how Harry viewed the other ghosts after Sirius' death.

Ruined~ I started describing a scene where Draco is tensed and struggling during his assignment from Voldemort sixth year and it ended up becoming this. I'm actually quite fond of it.

Mourning~ I've never written a piece focused on anything twin-generation, but I actually really like this piece. I got this picture of George at Fred's funeral and knew at once that he would never have worn black. So, I wrote a story where he wore bright, sunshine yellow.

Ron's Nightmare~ This was actually the very first thing I completed. It's bascially a weird fic where Ron gets hit with some potion during class and then gets knocked out and dreams up this crazy dream. Except he thinks that he's just waking up to a weird day. Then when he actually does wake up, he goes all Ron and it's rather funny...

Chapstick~ This was my first story that I really liked! Before this, I had written the weird-o Ron's Nightmare, and all of Starting Over, but Ron's Nightmare wasn't very plot-y and Starting Over was too cliche. This one was fun to write and something I was actually pleased with! I am actually planning on writing a sequel to this... I just haven't had the time.

Nothing I Could Do~ I've been putting off actually writing an iCarly fanfic for a long time. I've been addicted to the show (kind of sad for a college student, I know, but I also don't care!) for a while now, but have talked myself out of writing fics time after time, saying I had way too many WIPs and homework and other projects I was already in the middle of... but after watching iSpeed Date, this scene popped into my head and simply would not leave! So, I typed it up, and after having my best friend read it, posted it with her approval.

Starting Over: Part 1 in the Hidden Trilogy~ Not my favorite story of mine, since I wrote it so long ago and cringe at the cliche-ness, and although I was thinking about returning to it later to revamp and finish it, I actually am going to go ahead and post what I have. Stuck as Classmates~ I actually really like this fic, but haven't had time lately with everything that's going on, so it's still mostly in outline form. 1ST CHAPTER IN PROGRESS

Eenie-Meanie-Mione-Mo!~ I like this story, too. It originally was the idea for a crack fic, but then I decided to make it all real and junk. But it's still funny. To me, at least. And I haven't had the time to work on it because... well. The time thing. RL sucks. 1ST CHAPTER IN PROGRESS

Chemistry~ Originally written as a oneshot, but due to some positive feedback and a few hopping plot bunnies... it's gonna grow. 3RD CHAPTER IN PROGRESS

Bleeding Love~ My latest story inspired by Leona Lewis' song Keep Bleeding. Actually, this is my favorite of all of my fics. I think that's because I know what's going to happen... but I really like it. It's been a complete joy to write, even though it has beeen difficult at times. All You've Got~ What if Spike returns to help Buffy fight off Angelus after dumping Dru in his car? How will Buffy deal with what happens because of this? I actually really like this fic, and I originally planned on it remaining a oneshot... But then the bunnies came and all these ideas spun around and... yeah. 2ND CHAPTER IN PROGRESS

Lapses of Insanity~ This is just me and my friend, going craaazy. Lots of Spuffy-crazy-ness, over-exaggeration of character traits, funny, light-hearted stuff. I update this whenever the crazy bunnies attack...

Reverse~ Another version of Something Blue... When Willow does the reversal spell, it takes away her ability to have her will be done, but does not unto the effects. Those, the Scooby gang have to tackle one by one. Spuffy. I actually really like this one, too. I love Something Blue fics. I just had to write one. 5TH CHAPTER TO BE POSTED SOON

Pie~ Hermione Granger has not been having a good day. It was not a good idea to provoke her. Draco Malfoy should have known better. Especially with all that food lying on the table in front of her...

Forbidden~ Long ago, a forbidden love was forged that would alter history forever... When Hermione Granger reads of an undying love, little does she know how much the love of a couple who lived long ago could impact her life. Indeed, it already has... D/Hr.

When You Wish Upon a Star~ Hermione Granger didn't know what she was doing when she wished to be eleven years old again, back when magic didn't exist. Now, she's thrown into a different dimension, where not only is she eleven years old, but magic, witches, wizards, the Ministry, and even Hogwarts have never existed. AU D/Hr. H/G. R/P.

Clueless~ What if not everyone was as clueless as Buffy and everyone knew of Spike's affections? AU Crush. Spuffy.

Mine~ What if the monks went for an easier way to have Buffy take care of the Key in human form, one that didn't include messy rewrites of memories? AU season 5

Slayer of Slayers~ After the violent death of the woman he loved, William the Bloody vows to witness the last breath of every last one of the people his love's killer belonged to -- the Slayers. AU.

Acceptance~ Despite their recent conflicts, Hank and Joyce Summers vow to put their problems aside when they find out about their teenage daughter's newest job. Merrick tells her parents, they accept her calling, Buffy finds the support she felt sure she would lack, and the four of them decide to move to Sunnydale, home of the Hellmouth. AU preseries.

Being Buffy Summers~ Six months ago, Shannon Thomas became a Slayer. But now, she is The Slayer. Chosen among thousands, she must convince the rest of the world that she is Buffy Summers. Other than that, she has it easy: Rome, partying, and a great boyfriend. That is, until some people from the real Buffy's past show up. postChosen. Goes AU in TGiQ.

I'm actually currently looking for a beta to help me out with my story Chemistry. Mainly plot flow and plot holes and maybe the slightest grammar and such. If anyone is interested, please PM me!

Challenges

Challenges are extremely fun and can definitely help give the muse a jump-start. The HPFC is a fabulous place for HP challenges, but I actually don't know of any for any of the other fandoms I love. If anyone does, I would love to know! I also will consider taking on challenges from individuals, so have at it if you feel so inclined!
