| Blood White Panther |
Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, X-Men: The Movie, O.C., Boy Meets World, and Supernatural. Me Hello, I've been writing for this site for a while now, and reading it almost religiously, so I thought it was high time I introduced myself. My official internet handle is generally "Blood White Panther", but I also answer to whitepanther16, Panther and, interestingly enough, "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" Books My favourite genre is fantasy. Sci-fi, straight-up fiction and historical fiction are also enjoyed. My favourite authors include David and Leigh Eddings, R. A. Salvatore, Anne McCaffrey, J. K. Rowling, Orson Scott Card, Robin McKinley, Lurlene McDaniel, Carol Matas, Lois Lowry, Mercedes Lackey, Diana Marcellas, Garth Nix, Kit Pearson, Janet McNaughton, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne Rice, Elie Wiesel, Aldous Huxley, Anne Robillard, and Shakespeare. As the creator of Forgotten Realms, Ed Greenwood is my idol. Anime/Manga I am a rabid anime/manga fangirl and enjoy Reading Fruits Basket, Tsubasa, Petshop of Horrors, D.N.Angel, Dramacon, and MegaTokyo. I have obsessively followed a variety of anime series including Inuyasha, Naruto, Witch Hunter Robin, D.N.Angel (surprisingly different and yet generally the same as the manga), Fruits Basket (it ends too soon!), Onegai Teacher, Onegai Twins, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Slayers, and Gundam Seed. I've caught a few episodes or read the odd manga from Earthlight, L/R, ES: Eternal Sabbath, The Dreaming, Saiyuki, Whistle!, F.M.A., Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Avatar: Airbender, Yu-Gi-Oh, My Cat Loki, Gundam Wing, Bleach, Konichi no Gash Bell/Zatch Bell, and Ruroni Kenshin. Movies/T.V. Shows/Cartoons I have also been a raving fangirl of Smallville, Harry Potter (the books and the movies), The O.C., Buffy, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Gossip Girl, Corner Gas, Friends, Frasier, Seinfield, Teen Titans, Justice League, Big Wolf on Campus, Desperate Housewives, X-men Evolution, the X-men movieverse, the Spiderman movieverse, Supernatural, Prison Break (seasons 1 and 2), Queer As Folk, Boy Meets World, Malcolm in the Middle, Grey's Anatomy, and the Batman movieverse including Batman (the 1960s TV show), Batman (the 1989 movie), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), and more recently Catwoman (the 2004 movie), Batman Begins (2005), and Batman: The Dark Night (2008). My new love is Arrested Development. Why is it that all the good shows I stumble upon turn out to be over or cancelled? I'm currently intrigued by Sanctuary, Stargate-SG1, Brothers & Sisters, and 90210, while still maintaining my torch for Smallville, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, and The Office. While re-watching old Boy Meets World episodes, I uncovered a surprising amount of subtext for Family Channel. I wonder how much of it was planned by the writers and how much was accidental or added by the actors? Preferred Fandoms & Pairings My preferred fandoms (those I feel most comfortable proofreading and writing for) are Harry Potter, Boy Meets World, Malcolm in the Middle, Naruto, the Gossip Girl TV-verse, the X-men movieverse, Smallville, Buffy/Angel, Firefly/Serenity, the Spiderman movieverse, the O.C., Supernatural, Fruits Basket, and Big Wolf on Campus. I like slash. Many of the pairings I read and write are homosexual in nature. However, I do enjoy certain heterosexual and/or femslash pairings. I must also warn you, it is my belief that fictional incest is hot (something to do with the whole taboo thing). Be warned. I like reading really, really angsty UST stories with either a happy ending or an open ending. I also like humour and crack!fic. Here is a list of my preferred pairings (and some unpaired favourite characters): Boy Meets World: Cory/Shawn Cory/Tapanga Cory/Eric Jack/Eric Jack/Shawn Buffy & Angel: Spike (my ultimate fav character) Spander Spuffy Giles/Joyce Xander/Willow (Hey, they were really cute until she went all gay-and-never-look-back.) Xander/Buffy Wesley/Gunn Wesley/Fred Wesley/Fred/Gun (though I don't really like Gun/Fred) Angel/Anyone (though het is preferred and Spangel is generally detested) Drucilla (her craziness pwns, but I like Spike better without her) D.N.Angel: Daisuke/Riku Dark/Riku Daisuke/Satoshi Dark/Daisuke Fruits Basket: YukiKyo Kyohru (actual Yukihru is detested, but it's cute when he flirts with her) Hatsuharu (same problem as sessho) Gossip Girl TV-verse: Dan/Serena Chuck/Blair Chuck/Nate Nate/Jenny (Nate/Blair is loathsome) Rufus/Lily Harry Potter: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy Ron/Hermione Harry/Ron/Hermione Harry/Dudley (Yeah, you actually did read that correctly! I know, it shocks me too.) Dudley/Piers The Marauders Era: James/Lily Lupin/Snape Sirius (he just pwns) Snape/Lily (Peter Pettigrew is detested for his snivelliness, betrayal, weakness and evilness) Inuyasha: Inuyasha/Kagome (Inuyasha/Kikyo is generally loathed, along with Kikyo herself) Miroku/Sango Inuyasha/Koga Bankotsu (rox my sox) Hakudoshi (he's just so evil! ~wibbles~) Kirara (I love cats. I love fire. I love demons. 'Nuff said.) Sesshomaru (I love him, but I can never decide who to pair him with.) Life With Derek: Dasey Lizwin Dizzy Malcolm in the Middle: Francis/Piama Lois/Hal Reese/Malcolm Eric/Francis Francis “Poodle-head” Piama Dewey Malcolm Reese Craig (I feel kinda sorry about this, but he’s always good for a laugh.) Otto (he’s like a trusting like puppy that everybody wants to step on) Polly Cynthia (I like her any time she ISN’T laughing. And then I want to smack her. Hard enough to stop the racket.) Naruto: Gaara pwns. No, really. He inspires the manic depressive in all of us. NaruSasuNaru SasuNaruSaku (Except I HATE plain old SasuSaku. Give me a nice angsty triangle any day!) NaruSaku Gaara/Anyone NaruHina (sometimes) KibaHina SakuIno NejiHina The O.C.: Seth/Summer Ryan/Marissa Ryan/Lindsay Seth/Ryan Anna/Seth/Summer (though I don't like the Anna/Seth dynamic on its own) Seth/Zach Seth/Summer/Zach Luke/Seth Trey/Ryan Trey/Marissa Marissa/Alex Ryan/Taylor Prison Break: Michael/Sara Michael/Sara/Lincoln Lincoln/Veronica T-bag/LJ T-bag/Tweener Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell David "Tweener" Apolskis (he thinks he’s so gangsta! ~gigglesnorts~) Special Agent Alexander Mahone (season 2= the guy I love to hate, season 3= made of awesome in a completely different way) Michael Scofield Dr. Sara Tancredi John Abruzzi (love the way he talks!) Lincoln Burrows Charles "Haywire" Patoshik (you just gotta love him. He’s such a nice guy, and he only does horrible things because his mind works kind of like a child’s. God, he was funny--I miss him. ~pouts~) Lincoln Jr. “LJ” Burrows Fernando Sucre Benjamin "C-Note" Miles Franklin James Whistler (I love that Aussie accent!) Special Agent Paul Kellerman (he’s just so screwed up!) Sanctuary: Dr. Helen Magnus/Dr. Will Zimmerman Will/Ashley Henry/Ashley Will/Henry Smallville: Clana (only in approx. the first 5 seasons and after that I start to loath Lana) Clex Clhark Clitney (season 1) Clois (I think it's safe to say I love CK) Jason Teague (yay, Jensen!) Jimmy Olsen (has anyone else noticed that he looks remarkably like his brother, and that said brother, who starred as Iceman, also had a minor role fairly early on in Smallville?) Kara Kent AKA Kara Zor-El Green Arrow AKA Oliver Queen (Quirky, funny, sexy, but I'm not especially fond of Lollie AKA Oliver/Lois) Aside: Do you think Batman will show up on Smallville? ~pleads pathetically~ Stargate-SG1: Jack/Daniel Jack/Sam/Daniel The Spiderman Movieverse: Peter/Harry Peter/M.J. Emo Spiderman (He's funny as Hell but again, who should he desire?) Peter Parker/Eddie Brock (Venom) Supernatural: Sam/Dean Sam/Jess Sam/Jess/Dean John Winchester (he pwns!) Teen Titans: Robin/Beast Boy Beast Boy/Raven Red X/Beast Boy (I haven't come across any of these yet. Maybe I'll have to write one, hm?) (Robin/Starfire is loathsome) X-men Evolution: Kurt/Kitty (They're so cute!) Rogue (I love the Southern Bell accent) The X-men Movieverse: Bobby/John Bobby/Rogue Bobby/Rogue/John (but PyroRogue is generally not enjoyed) Scott/Jean/Logan (this is a really fun triangle to watch because the boys get all macho and competitive) Scott/Jean Mystique (she's fun to play with) Rogue Goodbye If you've made it through my extensive and intensely boring lists, congratulations on time well-wasted. Ta for now. Quote: "Speakin' from, ah, recent, personal experience, the triangle's, uh, not a friendly shape, ok? It's pointy. It's got sharp edges. Triangles hurt people, man." - Seth Cohan, The O.C. | |||||||||
