Author has written 7 stories for D.Gray-Man, Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Lord of the Flies. Because I have time to kill, I will bore you with...stuff. Orangesandmoons on fictionpress, and Lochesh on deviantart and...err...something else, I forgot. Name: Lochesh. Or just Loch (pronounced "Lock") Age: In highschool Gender: According to my birth certificate, I am a female. Likes: Anime/Manga, music, drawing, writing, reading, sleeping Dislikes: Many misc. things that you don't need to know about. :D Current Obsession: Axis Powers Hetalia I would say I write slash, except that's not...exactly true. It's more like, close friendship, brotherly relationship, or just plain "WHY IS THEIR LOVE SO F'D UP?!" because I fail too much to do anything more than hint at pairings in my fics. OTL;; EDIT: Okay, I lied. I finally wrote actual slash, though even a tiny kiss scene practically killed me (lolwut? Half an hour just to get out a measly 50 or so words) I read: Humor, Romance, Angst, Adventure, Action, and basically everything else as long as it's nicely written, the characters are IC, or, if OOC, there's a VERY good explanation. I write: Romance, Angst, Adventure, Action, and maybe a tiny part of humor if it's a short one-shot. I don't write usually humor often unless it's angsty humor. Like a kind of post-death reflection and you suddenly think "Damn, was I an asshole" kind of humor. Which is wierd since usually I can't read hardcore angst, yet I love torturing characters. I'm so sorry (that was not meant to be sarcastic). If I do write humour, it's either extremely sarcastic, or it's cracky. I am LAZY on updating and update whenever. I write because I can, I like it, and I have nothing better to do. I don't write to satisfy people. Maybe sometimes, but I will update on my own accord. SHIPPINGS (and by that, I mean pairings, not the actual boats) RussiaXChina (OTP!!), JapanXChina, KoreaXChina (I'll ship Nini with anyone, really), GermanyXN. Italy, HREXChibitalia, USUK, FranceXEngland, AmericaXCanada, EnglandXChina, DenmarkXNorway, SwedenXFinland, PolandXLithuania, FranceXCanada... ...Oh screw it, Hetalia is basically EVERYONExEVERYONE. It has GAY NATIONS. Now run with that. I don't like genderbending much. It's alright as a gag if it's only temporarily, but not when a MALE character in the series is suddenly permanently switched to a girl, or IS a girl in AU (unless, of course, it's really, really well-written). Nope. Worse if the male-turned-female character is then paired up with another male character. I really don't like that. But using gender bending as a gag is quite funny, espeicially when the character is only cross-dressing and not actually having the BODY of their opposite gender. Also, I don't like random Japanese inserted in the middle of a fanfiction. Like, someone answers the phone and says "Moshi-moshi." FFF NO. Unless they are IN JAPAN or the character IS JAPANESE, or they're using it for a gag. However (and here is me being hypocritical), trademarks for example, like the Millenium Earl's "Konbanwa" (D.Gray-Man) is okay because it feels too awkward if I switch it to English. Eh. It's not bad in Hetalia fandom though (so why am I complaining??). This was all written WAAAYYY long ago when I was really into the DGM fandom and most of the fics were littered with random Japanese, most of it incorrect. I'm just too lazy to fully reconstruct my profile from scratch. In Progress: Paint The World: (Hetalia) RussiaXChina. A descent into communism. If the world does not have the colours they want, they will simply repaint it again and again until they are satisfied. Hetalia 20 Prompts: Like my Lord Of The Flies 20 Prompts, just with 100 percent more gay. Actually, it's mainly ANGST ANGST and, MORE ANGST. ...With some fluff. Oh, look, pieces of my heart on the ground. Prompts 1-5 posted. Planned: Nini and the Sunflower: The classic Beauty and the Beast, but with a gender-confused nation, your friendly neighbourhood psychopath, and crack. Maybe. Or angst. Maybe both. (HETALIA) DISCONTINUED (until further notice): Arpeggio: An Allen trilogy. Shot one: Stars in the Sky is out, but the other two are somewhere over the rainbow as I cannot get myself back into the fandom enough to continue. News: So I've been using fanfiction for...how long? And I just discovered last week that there was a "Traffic" button with the flag counter thing (lets you see people from which country that are reading your work). It's pretty cool because it's like wow, I have some guy/girl from the Netherlands and Bulgaria, and even countries I don't know of (I'M SORRY FOR MY FAIL JUST PRETEND YOU NEVER READ THIS) reading stuff I post. Because it makes me feel embarrassed of my work and friking scared that, because all I'm writing is Hetalia now, I didn't do justice to their nation. Yes, I'm looking at the people from Yao and Ivan, because those are the two characters I'm writing the most about. Geez, writing for Hetalia is friking scary...now go along, shoo shoo, you never read this, clear? Edit: The more I look at the "Traffic" button rates, the more nervous I get...OTL;;; | |||||||||
