Konnichiwa~! Yo. Heu. Oi.

WatanuKimihiro reporting. Somehow I haven’t grasped the use of this ‘profile’ yet but as I understand it you have to write a little about yourself. _ Alright. Should be easy….

I’m: 17 years old and in the middle of finishing off my GCSE’s and IGCSE’s before studying to pursue a career in honest journalism. Why? ‘Cause I love writing about almost anything and have a knack for essays. I guess I’m –as most of my teachers seem to say behind my back- one of the best English Language/Literature students in my year. Only I don’t do it on purpose! Honest! T_T It’s just something I’m born with. –shrug–. Only the same can’t be said about logic because I – suck – at – maths. Big time.

Anyhow: One of my greatest passions has become fan-fictions – something I only discovered about a year ago and I love them! That’s prolly because I’m a complete movie/manga/anime/book freak. It’s only been a few months since I seriously started writing my own but somehow it’s been easy for me. This could be because, as long as I can remember, I’ve been exploring characters. If I read/watch something, one character always grasps my attention and I find myself exploring him or her by actually acting him/her out in my mind. It’s got nothing to do with drama, really. It’s just this habit of mine. Therefore, when I write ffs I’m most worried about how the characters come across. So, now, after some experience, writing ffs has turned into one of my main hobbies, along with art. They’re my ways of expressing my feelings towards things I’m inspired by.

And it’s wonderful when it works out, the words just flow onto the page with such satisfaction that I’m hopelessly addicted. For me, it’s the best feeling in the world.

I’m a huge fan of: mangas and anime. My all time favorites include: XXXHOLiC, Tsubasa (basically anything by CLAMP), Fruits Basket and Full Moon.

With books: I’m choosy, but once I’ve found the style I like, I read almost any genre from drama to horror and back to romance. Movies are similar, but I can only highly recommend ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’

With characters: I’m picky but: Watanuki Kimihiro, Fai D. Flowright, Shigure Sohma and Captain Jack Sparrow are dearest to me.

I’m also- obviously- a major XXXH obsessor, as well as a newbie to the Watanuki Doumeki pairing. After spending over 2 months in fiery denial of it, I’ve finally come out in the open. (Or, as someone on here predicted: ‘the dark side’ ) So, now I’m a hopeless fan. T_T I blame the countless DxW fan fictions and live journal entries! –points accusatory finger and cries tears of shame like Nobita–. I swear, if I wasn’t so in love with this pairing, I’d sue you all!!! (XD)

Still, I’m on a pretty mild stage of their relationship (-still in denial- and I don’t think that will ever change) but I stick with the fact that Doumeki-kun is made for Nuki…Especially after Himawari-chan falling out of the picture as an OTP. Yes, I’m a victim to curiosity and sneaky online spoilers. But I remain with the hope of a continuous heartwarming friendship, and if there’s vacancy, let’s hope Watanuki finally notices the Zashiki Warashi more seriously!

I've also recently become an absolute fan of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles! -squeal- Best manga! And, of course, the FaixKurogane pairing -stars in eyes-...they're just as cute as Watanuki and Doumeki. CLAMP has really got me hooked on this shounen ai thing...hardly any denial this time around! -winks- The manga is very intertwined with other CLAMP mangas as well as XXXHOLiC but it's completely different at the same time...absolutely undescribable but definately highly recommendable. It's become one of my all time favourites to read and, naturally, write FF's about.

What fan-fictions do I recommend: Definitely VinVal’s XXXHOLiC perspectives, Viv N -Childish Grin and mleeph’s DouxWata’s. They’re absolutely amazing!

My stories? Well, what can I say? All of them are unique in some way, but I cannot really recommend some of my earlier ones. XP I improve as I go, naturally. So here are my recent ones, and in my opinion, my best:

No Need to Scream and So I Can Breathe are my first POVs ever, (as well as my first serious fics) based on XXXHOLiC and inspired by VinVal 's own POVs- which are brilliant.They're both of the same scene, one of my favs in the manga, of Volume 7, Chapter 41, but in different perspectives. The first one is Watanuki's POV and the second is Doumeki's, written in that order. Both of them turned out equally well, especially for my first attempt on first person POVs. Somehow my writing style seemed to improve greatly after these two.

Circumstances: This is my most recent DouxWata, as well as my first non-POV on the two of them and it turned out so well! I'm a huge fan of squeaworthy shounen-ai oneshots and am pretty surprised I managed one myself. Evolves around Watanuki's bentou lunch routine with Doumeki and how he comes to realize how much he actually cherishes it. Deathpan Doumeki remarks and hyperventilating Watanuki freak-outs are ensured.

Blood and Shame: My first Kurogane Fai oneshot. Just a little cuteness about how Kurogane would react if he actually came to hurt Fai unintentionally. I actually found myself giggling at my own writing, which happens seldomly. It's nothing heavy, just a squeaworthy side-line to the manga about our favourite mage and ninja.

One-Sided Equilibrium: According to VinVal, this is the best POV I've written, as well as the first from Tsubasa. It's on Volume 6, Chapter 37-38 in Fai's POV, something I just had to do 'cause I had fallen in love with the scene even before I actually read it (I scan my mangas far too thoroughly hehe). So I guess you can trust VinVal,on this one and give it a go. Expect more of this kind soon...I've fallen in love with it.
