Here we go. My name is Dina.

I am a Danish female, 26 years of age. I am an English major at Copenhagen University. I write mostly in the X-Men movieverse, that is when my horrendous RL will let me. I would like to reassure my readers that no fanfic I start will be left unfinished. I hate when authors do that!

I solemly pledge to offer my honest opinion in any and all reviews I submit. Reviews are for constructive critisism as well as praise.

I am an avid opposer of OFCs as main characters, especially in romances involving canon characters.

Umm yeah. I absolutely cannot STAND Original characters as main players in fanfiction. I mean I don't mind the occasional OC. It's just. There are so many "a new girl comes to Hogwarts/Xavier's Academy/Terminal City/Sky High etc. and everybody falls wildly in love with her" stories. Grr... Most fandoms come complete with several shiny and lovely characters, so why oh why do we need all powerful Mary Sue to f things up?

I love Pyro, Toad and Mystique. I do have one OMC in my fic Turning and Returning and may add more. Jeune Chat's wonderful Sky High fic 'War and Peace in Mind' made me believe that it can be done, without screwing up the world the fic is set in! (Check out her fics, please)

Okay... enough with the rant. I only have six stories as of yet. I hope you enjoy them.

"Turning and Returning" is a slash-fic of the Pyro/Iceman variety. The main characters will be Pyro, Iceman, Mystique and Toad and the story will feature various X-Men, as well as a few OCs (not in starring roles though, I promise!). Plot: A few months after Alcatraz, a TV news cast lets the X-men know what really happened with Pyro. As tensions rise, and the anti-mutant Senator Trask reveals his plans, Bobby is treated to a new view of some of Magneto's erstwhile followers. "War is coming...As lines are drawn in the sand, where will you stand?"

"Tabula Fucking Rasa" is my first attempt at X-men: the movie. The story plays around with the concept of 'transferrance of personalities' that X3 dealt with in passing. A tale of deals made, regrets realised and sacrifices given. Will probably not be the happiest of fics, and now that I have an ending planned as well as a loose idea for a sequel, I hope I will not get strung up by the heels! "For love or the greater good. What do you choose, little Firestarter?" This story will be anywhere from thirty to forty chapters long! (Phew)

"My Beloved" is a wildly out of character emotional sketch, more of a stream of conciousness, really. It is inspired by the hauntingly beautiful lyrics of VNV Nation's "My Beloved", which I cannot encourage you enough to check out. The story is a oneshot first person piece, dealing with survivor's guilt and the feeling of loss. The story is from Logan's point of view.

"Before the Inferno" will be a series of short stories and character sketches portraying the early years of one St John Allerdyce. I will try to outline my thoughts on how he bacame the person he is, from the bad childhood, to later insecurities and beliefs. If you have any ideas for why YOU think he's different than the other 'X-Kids', please read and review to let me know if you want anything in particular included. The first part is up now, dealing with St John aged eight-nine, titled 'Bad'.

"I, Freak" is a short intro to a longer story set in the SLA Industries, future role playing system. Set on the barren world, Mort, it features a young Ebon by the name of Hush. Should I decide to continue the fic, it will follow her and her squad through their struggles to survive and make it big in the dog-eat-dog World Of Progress. The story will not really make any sense if you're not familiar with the world, but if you want to try it out, then please send me a message and I will provide you with the proper background material.

"Cake or Death?" is my first forray into the wonderful world of Torchwood. This silly little story was inspired by a days long TW marathon followed by an all night Eddie Izzard montage. It's Jack/Ianto with a side of Tosh/Owen (if you squint). It's all nonsense, really, but I think it's sweet. Don't take my word for it though, I was high on cold medicine when I wrote it.

"Tempus Fugit" I plan to write a character development story focussing on John Allerdyce trying to discover who his parents really were. Who did he inherrent that temper from?
