Hello, my fellow fic readers and writers!
Just joined fanfiction.net, so I thought I would introduce myself.
I'm Elisa, I'm 27, and from upstate NY.
I got into fanfic during college and my very mild obsession with The X-Files. (Okay, maybe I never missed a single episode, but that's beside the point.) I'm officially a 'Shipper, so was completely hooked when I found such talented writers as Karen Rasch, Leyla Harrison, Ann Haynes/Paula Graves, writers who "got" the characters, and wrote absolutely beautiful stories - 2 essentials for a fic writer, I think. But I was way too chicken to write any myself, and so was content to lurk.
However, once 24 rolled around (and again, I developed a very mild interest), I started nosing around for fics again, and this time I thought, "I can do this too!" And thus a closet fic writer was born (I have yet to actually admit to anyone that I do this...). I've discovered that I love it, it's fun, and I've come in contact with some great readers/writers b/c of it.
When I'm not writing fics, I'm toiling away in the cube farm that is Corporate America, and riding/hanging out with my wonderful horse.
So that's it - I've written a few 24 fics, Jack/Audrey stuff b/c I adore them.
