I don't own "InuYasha"! If I did, I certainly wouldn't be writing on Fanfiction.Net nor would I be living on such slim pickings.

Salutations and thanks for stumbling across my profile! Hi, I go by the title Silent Scribe, but my close acquaintances call me Angela. Or the Dictionary. Or Bookworm. Or "The-Sesshomaru-Fanatic" (which is my favorite).
Yes, I'm a devout Sesshomaru...ah..."enthusiast" in lieu of a better word (but someday I'll get the title of Western Lady, so all you fangirls just watch it). Anyways, I've written several fanfictions on the dashing daiyokai (I love his personality, fluff, and...everything that makes him Sesshomaru!), but I prefer keeping him in character.
Supported Pairings: Inuyasha/Kagome, Miroku/Sango, Naraku/God-help-the-miserable-soul, Sesshomaru/Kagura (a word on that below.)
On the subject of pairings, I think Sesshomaru would have been best off with Kagura (if he never finds me) since she's strong and independent. She would not see Sesshomaru as a superior but an equal. There is no captain in a relationship. Her personality was bold and outspoken though hardly ever illogical, something Sessh could appreciate. Sesshomaru's "feelings", subtle as they are, are thoroughly expressed in the way he tried to save her before she died and later regrets that Kagura's death may have been in vain when he learns of Tenseiga's new abilities. As we all remember, he accepts "the fighting Tenseiga" because "whether her death was in vain shall be for him to decide." (Yes, dear fans constrained to only the anime, I just gave away a spoiler. Sue me.)
As for Rin, I hold the conception that Sesshomaru has more of a paternal relationship with her -- NOT a twisted lolicon complex! He brought her back from the dead and then raised her since childhood, it'd be pretty weird if one reared a kid then took it as a mate. Yes, I'm aware Sesshomaru won't age and that historically speaking men have taken girls they knew since childhood as wives, but how much did these men spend with the girl prior? Answer? Zliche, zip, ninguno, none. Sesshomaru would have watched this little one blossom under his watch, she taught him compassion and gave one thing more: a grateful heart. The only true affection the dog-demon ever knew probably came from his father so he would understand best in passing it down to a young human child (thus "becoming like his father in a strange manner."). Rin is essentially there to demonstrate that other forms of love exist in the "InuYasha" series, which is abound with romantic entanglements already. However, I do think Sesshomaru would mourn Rin's mortality, and that'll make for some angsty fanfics.

Where did I get the pen name Silent Scribe? Actually I think it borders on being an oxymoron since you can't shut up someone as long as they find a way to communicate. Also I'm not exactly the quiet type myself (not to be confused with "loud-mouth") and enjoy expressing emotion through writing. I guess the final push was that I simply like the letter "S" (mainly because it's my family initial, not just as in Sesshomaru...which has three!).
I love my father (my greatest role model), books (no kidding), and defenseless animals (especially in good gravy...all right, joking about the gravy part...sort of).
I always appreciate story critique and will take up requests.
