Author has written 6 stories for Trigun, and Fullmetal Alchemist. I change my profile either too often, or not often enough. Moderation is not my strong point. All of my fiction is written in tropes. I apply the Universal Mary Sue Litmus Test to all of my original characters, even if the canon characters I'm working with score dangerously high (hello, Vash). Even though my writing style (yes, let's call it a "style") is utterly unacceptable as a publishable format- ellipsis abound, italics representing thought IN A DIFFERENT TENSE than the rest of the text, parentheses scattered like pixie dust- I take semi-colons quite seriously. Vaarsuvius: And once again, Probability proves itself willing to sneak into a back alley and service Drama as would a copper piece harlot. If, in a story the opportunity for conflict presents itself, it must never, EVER be passed by. Situations can always be made unnecessarily complicated. And love is always unrequited, or perceived to be so, for as long as possible. Wouldn't it be great if I could write fanfiction in with the Original Flavor intact? Follow the style, so my continuations are believable continuations? Ah, but then I couldn't turn a shonen anime into a paperback romance novel, and where's the fun without that? Just please, please tell me if I venture into fan wank. I may have to put myself down. And, when all else fails, DEUS EX MACHINA! That's what it's there for. | |||||||||
