No, I don't think any less of you if you didn't know all of the words I used. It's simply a commentary on the fact that the villain always seems to have a much larger vocabulary than the hero, regardless of the series in question.

The comments made by Harry to Hermione are not meant to be anti-religion or anti-Christian. They are meant to point out the hypocrisy of people who use their religious text to condemn the behaviour of others while ignoring their own faults. If you wish to debate whether or not Christianity does condemn homosexuality, I'd be more than happy to direct you to someone who's done far more study than I have on the subject.

I've been asked about Tom's assumed name at the end. Since I'm lazy, I'm gonna copy/paste the explanation I sent to the last person who asked:

"Try writing both names out in full and crossing off matching letters. The "Tom"s can be ignored- there's no change there. After crossing out the two D's, the A, the V, and the I, you're left with M, E, two R's, two O's, and two L's."
