I wasn't actually planning on writing anything here but it seems that this is the only way I can respond to all those readers out there who think "Deliver Me" is discontinued.

I assure you that Ms. Videl Son and I have FAR from given up on this story. The entire premise for 'Deliver Me' has been fleshed out and catalogued in a series of notes and it is simply a matter of writing the story out.

We would like to apologise for the delay as our bi-weekly deadline for the second chapter has elapsed...several times over, it seems (coughs embarrassedly).

Rather unexpectedly, school has become a lot more demanding of my time and for this reason I have been a lot less active on the site (I have been an active reader/reviewer for a while now but have only visited the site sporadically of late.). I have exams right around the corner so it seems that this period of inactivity on my part isn't going to improve until the academic year is over. MVS has also been busy with real life obligations quite understandably. It also requires a lot of coordination and effort to co-author a story so please bear with us.

Again, we are sorry for the deferment. It was not our intention when we first uploaded the story to make our readers wait so long. Thank you to everyone who has reviewed (40 reviews for our first chapter, despite us disabling anonymous reviews! We were pleasantly surprised by the warm response from readers. Thank you very much.) or otherwise expressed their interest in the story. I assure you, the story is not discontinued.

If all goes well and no unforeseen deterrents crop up, we hope to upload the second chapter sometime around Summer.

We hope all who enjoyed the story thus far will continue reading. We appreciate all our readers.
