Stuff About Me

Hmmm...me? I'm very playful, sometimes to the point of being immature, but I am serious sometimes. I love giving advice and helping people when they need help (most of the time). I love to watch serious or quiet movies with a twist or two. I also love comedy movies.

I read anything as long it's interesting and well-written. I play sports fairly well. I've tried out many. I play football, or soccer as some might call it. I've also played a bit of hockey and I'm currently playing rugby. I'm abysmal at swimming and I've had quite a few almost-drowned experiences. I used to play tennis pretty good but I stopped. I also used to play basketball with my uncle a lot but he moved abroad, and I eventually just stopped.

I'm pretty lazy and miserable and even smart whenever I feel like doing work. I also love to give trouble. It's quite fun.

I'm pretty open-minded. I usually try everything before I knock it.

I like doodling or sketching during classes either on my desk or at the back of my books. I really like laughing.

I'm pretty moody, but not overly so. Though I enjoy serious things, I am actually rarely ever serious, unless angry.

I'm pretty friendly, if a bit shy on some days. However, I like talking to new people who share the same interests as me. So don't hesitate to send me a message just to say hi or start up a conversation.

YES!!School is finished!!Finally. Man, exams were a bitch. Physics raped me, so did Math. I'm ready for a summer of relaxing, exercising (can't get fat again), and the occasional partying. But it's so damn HOT!!This has to be the hottest summer yet; it must be global warming. I hope everyone enjoys their summer. I know I will!!:D

Oh dammit!!I forgot...I'm going to summer school >.> -Sigh- Damn...

Well, summer's basically over. I know it's only been two months but I feel like I've matured a lot. This summer helped me to come to terms with certain things and really think about my life.

This will be my graduation year and I know I won't have any time to idle. I'm not particularly happy to be going back to school, but I'm not all that upset either. Despite what the message above this one says, I did pretty well in my exams. And also, I did get fat, but that's completely my fault. I'm thinking about taking an extended break from FF.net, maybe even permanent, not that it will really affect anybody.

Fanfiction has had both a positive and negative affect on my life. Positive being I've learned a lot of things and I've had a lot of good laughs and cries from some of these fics. Negative being it distracts me from my work and some of the things on here are changing me. I don't know if it's changed me for the better or not. One of the main aspects is the widely controversial topic of homosexuality.

Before fanfiction, I hated gays with a passion, like almost everyone else in my country. Fanfiction presented a different view. I tried reading one of the fics, and decided it wasn't so bad. And before I knew it I was hooked.

I got confused. I was raised to hate them, yet here I was reading a slash/yaoi fic and loving it. I debated with myself a lot, and I finally settled on indifference. Yes, homosexuality is wrong. But I didn't really care what they did. After all, it's none of my business. But I still feel hypocritical and I can't take it anymore. I don't like having to hide what I'm reading and deleting my computer's history so no one sees what I'm reading. So, I'm going to quit. It's going to be hard process but I'm gonna have to deal.

I know I will slip up sometimes but I'll do the best I can. I believe I've become too open-minded and so I'm going to make my beliefs firm. I also feel like I've become less of a Christian and I am aiming to fix that. I just wonder what I'm going to do with my free time at home. I refuse to spend hours on Facebook, like most of my friends do. I'll probably just read a nice book.
