Author has written 11 stories for Stargate: SG-1, Jericho, Stargate: Atlantis, Bones, and Mentalist. Hello readers! I am Ann Pendragon. I have been an avid reader of fan fiction for some time now, and a writer of it this past year or so. I appreciate the readers input, especially knowing that most of the readers are also writers like myself who may not have liked how their favorite show or movie worked a story line or character action, or just felt inspired by what they watched or read enough to write something of their own. Most importantly for me, I like getting some of these stories out of my head and onto paper. It gets cluttered in there and it's a lot like spring cleaning. The process has also inspired me to work more diligently on my other creative projects. To get to know the on-line me and my fan fictions a little better, here is a general profile. Also check me out at http://annpendragon.livejournal.com/ . It is something new i have decided to try. Fan Fictions I read: The Mentalist, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Bones, Smallville, Navy NCIS and Fringe. Anything Sci-fi, action packed or character driven I'll give a try. Fan Fiction I wish to write: All the above shows. Lately, the content of my stories have been romantic or dramatic/action. I have gotten more comfortable with myself (happens with time) and feel more comfortable with pursuing these kind of stories. My stories also seem to be character driven. What I watch or have watched: Self proclaimed TV addict here. When I can I'll watch The Mentalist, Bones, Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, X-Files, Fringe, Navy NCIS, House, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Dr. Who, Saving Grace, The Closer, Men in Trees, Smallville, Scrubs, Law and Order SVU, 24, Heros, Big Bang Theory, Frasier, Monti Python, Jericho, Eureka, Pushing Daisies, the Star Trek multi-verse, Medium, M.A.S.H., CSI and anything on Sci Fi or the Discovery Channel/History/Science (or channels like it), HGTV, Music TV stations and the list goes on... I only watch a couple of them with complete attention. The rest of the shows get clicked on as background inspiration when I'm working on other things (Dr. Who is on while I edit this profile). I read: Most anything that catches my interest at the moment. I would love to sit and talk with Stephen King, JJ Abrams, M. Night Shyamalan, Stephen Spielberg, Chris Carter and Josh Whedon some day. What lovely story tellers. (evil grin) Movies and Music: Most anything in movies except guts and gore for no good reason but to make you puke. Most anything in music except Polka and Gangster Rap. Personal Note: I enjoy writing and art just as equally. I've joined two local Writing groups. I've started a blog and presently working on my own original WIP. I take photographs, paint and make jewelry . I love the outdoors. I camp, stargaze and go to my local park daily for exercise. I'm fascinated by history, antiquity, culture and science. I had worked in the Mental Health field for a decade (so my humor is a bit off...) I'm good with people, animals and plant life. I try to treat all living things with as much respect as possible. Overall, I try to play along with others. ;). | |||||||||
