My views on flames, reveiws and anything that has to do with the Cute little "Go" button on the bottom of a story-
Flames
As with any author, I love reviews. They make me feel accomplished and professional, not to mention happy and fuzzy inside. however, like most authors on here, Flames absolutely positively suck. and I mean it. Flames make the author want to curl up in a corner and stop writing. However, critizism is valued. Polite ways of pointing out mistakes is ok. Just dont put me down in general.

Yeah, I would reply with a strongly worded letter.
HOWEVER-
Hey, good story but there was a word in the third paragraph, I think it was -insert ridiculous word here- and Your commas were too frequent.
That Is what I consider a good reveiw. Nice paragraph-letter things are good too.
Reviews in general-
And when you posted a story on here, (If you posted a story on here,) you probably posted it because you were confident in your ability to write, not just for praise. I know, reviews are nice and sonmetimes' I'm guilty of begging for reviews, but y'know people, If you just hit the little go button on the bottom of a story, and say you liked it, and pointed out something that you liked, something that you disliked, and signed the darn thing politely, the world would be a hapy place with no one begging for reviews because they got a nice "Well rounded critique"
