Author has written 8 stories for Maximum Ride. Update 12/10/08: Hahaha. Freshman year, joy. You know, high school isn't as hard as it really should be. It really SHOULD be harder than 8th grade, but it's not. And, er, that SHOULD mean I have more time to update. But I'm lazy. Uh, sorry. Descriptions/Summaries of all my stories: Something There: Something There was my first story on fanfiction, so you can't blame me for the writing. If you read something later, you'll see the difference, trust me. This plot is a bit more intricate than my other, which isn't really saying anything because most of it is romance, anyways. (If you want educational or inspirational writing, go see my English teacher, jeez!) Something There is a story that takes place right after Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever. Max gets stolen from the flock and Fang is willing to do anything to get her back. When he finally does, however, he is faced with a much larger problem: his mother. He has found her and needs to make the decision as to leave the flock and the love of his life or to stay with his nice - and psychic - mother. Currently: Fang is on his way to the school, where the flock is captured and unable to escape. He has found out PS: Story is not dead. But don't hold your breath. I"M REALLY SORRY, ALL! aanyways, the third book came out, so yeah...I'm rereading that, plus this is post MR2 and seems a little pointless. but I'll maybe possibly update eventually. Fever Dreams: A large portion of this was written at 1:30 at night by two hyper teenage girls. That should do most of the explaining. If it doesn't: Fever Dreams is a slightly disturbing, pretty hilarious story...written by two teenage girls at 1:30 in the morning. If you get disturbing nightmares easily, please don't read this. May be a slight bit of swearing but nothing completely horrible. This can get very unexpected. And I'm telling you now that this is a dream because you'd have to be a bit idiotic to actually think I would write something like this without some sort of explanation. I don't think I'm that insane yet, anyways. So please stick it out until the end where everything returns to normal and you are rewarded for reading with some nice fax. And if you don't like fax, then what are you doing reading any of my stories in the first place? Reunited: I think it's my best story and I've gotten a lot of good reviews for this one. My first serious faxiness. Please read it. Basically, the flock found their parents and Max is living in California. Fang comes to find her and drama follows. Won't say what happens but there is faxness, obviously. Started it for a challenge but it got out of hand. May or may not add an epilogue. It's pretty much completely finished and so another chapter may happen if I miraculously get time. PS: Sorry about the author's notes in there. I wanted to delete them, but I found out that if you delete them and put in a new chapter, the people who reviewed the stupid author's notes won't be able to review the chapter. That's why I have a random message as chapter 6. Skip it, please. Two Different Worlds: Back up. Will update soon, but I need to reread twilight to see if I can do any better at Bella's point of view, because I'm getting soo used to writing Max. Anyways, Bella and Max somehow switch bodies! Max and Bella need to get back to their own lives! Can they ever find a way to get back to themselves? How did they switch in the first place? Twilight/Maximum Ride crossover kind of thing. There's Faxness and Bella/Edward. Like, duh. No funky stuff. I like Iggy/Nudge but they're too young unless it's in the future. Should be fun. C'mon, I mean, Edward and the flock? Perfect Unison: Sorry. I deleted it. 'Twas crapacola. Save the Flock, Save the World: Probably should delete it now. Kinda pointless. But where there's a blank space It's the maximum ride webiste. I didn't know they didn't allow urls. Sorry. Are there five million clicks yet? I'm gonna go check. Iluvzuzu wrote it and told me to post it because she was on vacation plus the document manager wasn't working. It was for before there were a million. But I like having a lot of stories. So there ya go. Bored in a Library: My new favorite story. Max is on a chatroom, and she's talking to this person called ontherun, and she basically spills out her whole life to him. Since Fang is, of course, a very famous blogger, she also has conversations about him and his best friend (neither of whom she has ever met, obviously) with one of his fangirls...its funny, ironic, and interesting. I'm sorry for being so modest, but it's who I am. I don't like to brag. But anyway, read it even if you don't like stories where it's all on the computer. It's cute. And did I mention there was Faxness? Because there is. HOW COULD I EVER WRITE ANYTHING ELSE? Love and Death: Oh! I just realized that I haven't added a description of this story yet as I was writing the one for Bored in a Library, so here I go. And, inevitably there is a very long story. Basically, my inspiration were these two very annoying boys. They're both nerds who have abiously read Maximum Ride, but of course needed to torture us about it. Apparently, they found the fact that me and iluvzuzu ranted about Max and Fang for half the day quite annoying. So we happened to get into arguments in the cafeteria at lunch that sounded mostly like this: "MAX AND FANG WILL GET TOGETHER IN THE THIRD BOOK!" (which, of course, they didn't, but this was like, a long time ago...go and check the publish date of the story...and we didn't know this) "MAX AND FANG ARE GONNA DIE!" "WELL, IF THEY DO, THEY'LL GET TOGETHER BEFORE THEY DIE!" "FINE, BUT THEY'LL DIE!" As you can see, these were some very immature boys... so since we were arguing with one of them at lunch, and they felt very sure that they were going to die, we had more of these arguments and these words got pounded into my head. Then, later that very same day, something depressing happened to me. Don't ask me what, because I can't remember so it must not really have been THAT depressing. But it got me in a depressing enough mood to write this very depressing story, and that is what's important. Because, every author needs one of those, right? But reviewers have said that it's made them cry. And, like I suggest for all songfics, playing the song on youtube while you read the story is a definite must. Just make a new tab (control t on most computers) and then play the song with the story after you've read it once. Seriously, my OWN STORY made me cry when I did this. The song is "When There was Me and You" by Vanessa Hudgens. And if you hate HSM, it's still a really depressing song. And if you want to know something, the original song was actually "I still Believe" by Hayden Panetierre. And, actually, I wrote more than half the story before switching the song. And I didn't change anything. Seriously. So, if the song fits perfectly, thank my brilliant subconscious or something. But yeah. Weird, huh? And it just so happened that the new song had the wishing on a star thing like the first one, so that fit, and it fit the beginning of the story even better! Like the "find yourself looking from the outside"? Yeah. That was unintentional. A fluke, if you'd like to call it that. A coincidence. But I will still stick to the theory that I have a brilliant subconscious. Anyways, aside from that, it's very sad, and I think the writing is pretty good. At least people have told me that. And, while reading it, please remember that I am a strong FAX supporter (and fax only) so any other pairings that you may see in this are only for the cause of making it more depressing. So yeah, There. Please read it. Stuck in the Suburbs: It's going to be one of those cliche ones where the flock goes to school again. But it will be different from the others, and hopefully very good, so please give it a try.. And, I promise to everyone else who as written this kind of story that I have not stolen anything from you, and anything that seems similar is purely coincidence. I came up with all these ideas in my head, as this story has been planned out in my mind for a long while. A quick summary of this story: Nothing to do with the movie. This is going to be a story full of drama and suspense, and, of course, FAX, because I never write anything else. A year has gone by, and the flock needs to go into hiding. As Max doesn't have her chip anymore, the school can't find them via technology. What better place to hide than the suburbs of California? Jeb also decides that they need to go to school, and most of the flock wants to as well. Max, although she feels trapped in this normal life, soon makes friends at school and warms up to her comfortable new life. Although busy with school, she finds time to hate the popular witch with a b, Rachel Rose, be jealous of and rethink her feelings for Fang, comfort her new best friends, and take care of the flock. Romance and all that jazz. You know you want to read it! And now is the moment you have all been waiting for! (probably not really but you will read it anyways) mind controls BRM of the...day/week/month/...year or two There was a line of gnarled oaks at the top edge of the beach, and I looked through them, then checked my watch. "You're late." Fang stepped out of the shadows, eating an apple. He was dressed in black, as usual, and his face looked like a lumpy plum pie. But his eyes shone as he came toward me, and then I was running to him over the sand, my wings out in back of me. We smashed together awkwardly, with Fang standing stiffly for a moment, but then his arms slowly came around me, and he hugged me back. I held him tight, trying to swallow the lump of cotton in my throat, my head on his shoulder, my eyes squeezed shut. "Don't ever leave me again," I said in a tiny voice. "I won't," he promised into my hair, sounding most un-Fang-like. "I won't. Not ever." - MR3, page 397 This one is also my signature on gmail, by the way :D Things that bug me on fanfiction.net: People getting the color of Max's wings wrong..."Thirteen feet across, pale tan with white streaks and some freckly looking brown spots..." (Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment page 7). there, that's from the angel experiment, max, describing her wings. they're not white! that's angel. When people think Fang is OOC just because he says talks. Fang has a personality, he's not always deathly silent. Read MR:TAE again if you want evidence...for example - flips book open to random page - well, okay - flips to a different random page - okay, here. page 168 and 169. see there? fang DOES talk. and in the books he has blushed, hugged people, and according to max always holds angel when she cried. I think that you all are so used to his silent reputation, that although you picture him talking when he says something, you don't actually register that he's talking or something. He has feelings too - and he's not freaking emo! just reread the angel experiment if you still don't believe me. When people write the word "loosing." It's not a word! the proper way to spell that is losing...that really gets on my nerves, don't ask me why, probably just because everyone does it. Example: Correct: I was scared that I was going to lose Fang. Incorrect: I was scared that I was going to loose Fang. Although if, say, there is a knot and it's becoming loose, this is a whole different case. Find a website or something about this, people. When people don't bother to spell check their stories before submitting them...just copy and paste it into word and usually that gets rid of a lot. or just have somebody who's good with grammar read it before you submit it. ITS NOT THAT HARD...If you don't like to spell check your stories or if your grammar and stuff is a little iffy, you can feel free to send anything to me. I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING! I am perfectly available to beta any stories that need beta-ing. Because, uh, sorry, tons of them do. Even if you're saying 'I'm only such-and-such age!' Well, hate to break it to you, but I'm as young as most of you are. I just happen to be in honors and stuff so I'm pretty...uh...grammatical. Seriously, though, the offer has been made, so if you have read this part of my profile you have no excuse for bad spelling and the likes. At least go over the chapters when you're done with them so you catch mistakes like putting 'out' instead of 'put.' stuff like that, you know? Makes such a difference. Anyways, yeah, my email is at the top of my page, so please don't hesitate. Errors in a Title or Summary: If you can't spell words right in your title, not many people are going to bother reading your story. Hate to break it to ya. A little imitation flock: When people write a story about another flock, and there just happens to be a kid who resembles each one of the existing flock. for example, if there is a little girl and her older brother, a girl/guy who talks to much, a girl/boy with a handicap (ex. blind, mute, deaf) and a hot boy who is love with the leader girl (hot boy has dark silent personality like fang, and girl resembles max) Just changing their ages/genders does not make them all that different. If you are going to create new characters, make them your own and original and give them personalities that will be interesting to read about. the exception is if this is somehow part of the plot, because the whitecoats made them that way - but even that is kind of fishy. personalities develop on their own, not from genetic mutation. physical appearances are different) Hotel Room Cliche: Gah! Please, please don't do this in your story! Okay, here is the thing. If Max and the flock decide to go to a motel/hotel, they are going to stick together. As in, you got it, one room. Max would not let everybody be separated like that (Especially after MR3) And if they did split up, which they wouldn't, Max could make it so that she wasn't in a room alone with Fang. Secondly, if somehow Max and Fang end up in a hotel room alone anyways, and - collective gasp - there's only ONE BED (in shock) then guess what? one of them can sleep on the floor. They will. And don't doubt it because they've slept on the forest floor before so cheap hotel carpet wouldn't bother them. And even if they are crushing on each other Max would not admit to it enough to share the bed with him. If they're already together, don't worry about it. Do what you like. but if they're still friends please keep the previous paragraph in mind! FIggy or Fudge: Iggy is not gay! I have nothing against gay people whatsoever, and I'm not one of those Christian freaks who is like "That's not in the Bible!" But seriously. IGGY IS NOT GAY. So get over yourselves. Have you SEEN how perverted he is? And Fudge. It will never happen. Get over yourselves people. Jeez! FANG LIKES MAX. End of story. James Potter was a Chaser: The movie has it wrong! If you're going to watch the movies and not bother to read the books carefully, you shouldn't be on HP fanfiction, seriously. Please reread the books if you don't believe me. That's all I'm going to say. (most likely more will be added to this list at a later date -please don't take offense if your story has any or all of these. I love multiple stories with things that bug me in them. they're just random things that annoy me, you know?) HAHA. This is where my hot guys list used to go. Right now I'm pretty much into Chase Crawford, er, Ryan Ross, Brendon Urie...Gabe Suporta, William Beckett. Sigh.. and that hot one on American Idol with the eyeliner...what's his name, Adam. Jesse Aguilar was pretty hot too. Why must he have left my school? | |||||||||||
