Author has written 16 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, and Star Wars. Hello, everyone who bothered to take the time to look at this--you make me feel wanted! Name: Setep Ka Tawy Age: 17 Location: Well, obviously this page - you found me, didn't you? About me I'd have to say my two greatest obsessions are Star Wars and ancient Egypt. But as the latter isn't really relevant, I won't go into it here - and another reason being that if I tried to explain the extent of this Egyptian fanaticism, I'd be here for a very long time. So, Star Wars! An amazing sci-fi universe. My all time favorite character is Obi-Wan Kenobi - his accent and inflections are highly entertaining to listen to, and I can identify quite easily with his masterfully developed sense of humor. I especially enjoy stories about his Padawanhood with Qui-Gon, as well as stories of his own training of Anakin. I also like his relationship with Siri Tachi, but on that note, I intensely dislike stories in which he pairs up with some other girl, or even if the romance with Siri is taken too far. In general, I don't support AU Star Wars pairings. My new second favorite character is Galen Marek - actually, I was quite surprised at myself, seeing as I don't usually go for Dark Side characters. I suppose his story just intrigued me, as well as his character. To be honest, though, I think the whole romance with Juno Eclipse made "The Force Unleashed" a less enjoyable experience - it seems rather unlikely, and more than a bit cliche - but I'm slowly growing less vehement in my personal protests - I can usually accept, if not get used to, the canon storyline of most tales. Another highly ranked interest of mine is Star Trek. Some people find it odd that I can be so "into" both Star Wars and Star Trek - like it negates some fundamental law or some such other impossibility - but I say, why can't a person be a Trekkie and a 'Warsie too? My favorite Trek series are Enterprise and Voyager, and my favorite characters are Trip, Harry, and Tuvok, respectively. I haven't tried writing any fanfics for Star Trek yet, but who knows, it may happen! Yu-Gi-Oh! is another fandom I enjoy, albeit a slowly fading interest. It probably appeals to me 'cos of the cheesy humor and Egypt theme, heh heh. Fave characters are Yugi, Yami/Atem, Kaiba, and yes, I must admit, Bakura, who is a totally amazing villain. (I have to add now, though, that I seem to be having a Yu-Gi-Oh! revival - hence my recent attempts at fluffy Seto and Mokuba fics.) I LOVE roleplaying, and will do the above with great enthusiasm. Other, less obsessive interests include The Lord of The Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, and National Treasure. My favorite books, in no particular order - I absolutely DEVOUR good books! - are Redwall, Harry Potter, The Belgariad/The Mallorean/The Ellenium, The Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Realms, the Sight/Firebringer, The Hitchikers's Guide to the Galaxy and subsequent books, and various Star Wars novels. On the note of romance/pairings in stories, I really have no interest in it whatsoever. I might insert a little bit here and there, in passing and usually in humor, but the chances of any of it developing into something serious are very remote. You can read into my stories as much as you like, but any romance you find is likely just a hallucination on your part.
