Author has written 12 stories for Transformers. Yep, reopening account. I still don't like the way FFN handled the Great Purge of '02, but time and experience in fandom have proved that the same issues crop up wherever you go. I've come to the conclusion that we can't, unfortunately, just keep withdrawing, and I'm not sure, after five years, whether FFN is necessarily worse than any other major UGC site when it comes to covering its posterior parts. I will not, however, be reuploading the old stories - I've written an embarrassing number of them, and the very thought of uploading them all makes me tired. I'll load what I feel like loading. I'll probably keep my LOTR stuff on LOTR-specific archives, though who knows? New LOTR fics may make their way onto this account if I feel like it. The immediate motivation for reopening the account is ambush by plotbunny in a totally different fandom, which apparently doesn't have a lot of non-LJ archives that I'm aware of.
