HEY! Laura's back! Just don't know for how long unfortunately. As you know my work, you can pretty much figure out me as a person, especially since i used myself as a character in one of my stories. But to know me, you'd have to contact me. I'm hoping to start writing soon. Just gotta finally get the ifnishing touches on a couple of things and I will be doing something new. I've been in a slump for the last several months. So much drama in my life. Sadly it has done nothing for my creative process other than make me a very imaginitive person when I get angry with people. Hopefully I can chanell all my wierdness into a story soon. Plus side to all this drama, I went through a huge change in my looks! Just wish I had lost weight instead of gained. But I am lacking about a foot in hair length that originally looked good. Now it's kinda long again, going back to the old me... til next summer

BTW: No longer looking for a beta. I am not updating enough to bother someone with the work. I am thinking on some revisions before I start on a new story. Kagome is short, and not working out unfortunately. I'm not even sure it'll stay up.

I am quite pleased with the way it came along also. Thank you everyone who stuck with it. I know it was a pain in the butt story. But stick around, I might make a sequel!
The Party: Kagome and Sango go to a party at Yura’s. But after seeing Kouga cheating on her, she decides to leave. Instead of going home alone, Kagome leaves with InuYasha Takahashi, her older sister Kikyo's ex boyfriend. Thing's get a little out of hand after they both drink more than they were planning on. But what's to be expected after a night of drinking and sex? Only time let's you know. It's a new fic of mine! And my first one-shot. I hope it came out alright! I've already got the sequel in full bloom!
Aftermath: It's time for Kagome to have her baby. But InuYasha's worried. She's two months early. He reminisces along with the song Don’t Take The Girl by Tim McGraw, what happens when he proposes? How do their lives go after that? Time is a tricky devil, can they last after having their first child so young? I loved writing this one! It's only a chapter, i don’t know why either. But it's really long. I hope you enjoy!

Phoenix: Five years after leaving the Feudal Era taking Miroku, Sango and Shippo with her, Kagome has graduated High School and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the United States. She is very happy now. She still talks to her old friends back in Japan, but while attending college at Arizona State University might prove interesting for her. She has made a new friend, and a reincarnation of a old friend shows up, she decides to give him the chance his ancestor never got. What happens when another old face pops up into her life again? Things only get more interesting for Kagome as the days come.

The Not-So-New Guy: Kagome Higurashi is a normal 17 year old girl. She's almost finished with high school. She's finally got a date with Hojo, the boy she's been waiting for to ask her out for quite some time now. But when she spends a little time with her ex-boyfriend Kouga a old memory surfaces that she wasn't ready to relive, things also get out of hand when Kouga tells her he is engaged and has been cheating on his fiancé with Kagome for several months. When she thinks things can calm down after Kouga leaves, Kagome finds that old friends of the family are back in town and in their old house, right next door! Can she forgive InuYasha for what he did to her? And will he find out her secret that all of Kyoto has kept for 2 years? This is just a little fun thing I decided to write. It literally came to me in a dream. Hope ya'll like it!
You've Got Mail: This is my rendition of the move ‘you’ve got mail’. Kagome Higurashi and InuYasha Takahashi meet once in a chat-room and hit it off almost immediately, so they decide to e-mail and IM each other even after they don’t return to the chat. InuYasha meets Kagome while visiting the bookstore she owns while running around with his niece and cousin, not knowing that the woman he just spoke to was the woman he was emailing; InuYasha soon learns that his company ‘Tessuiga Inc.’ newest store ‘WindScar’ would be put up near her store. It was rumored to eventually take away her customers who would want to visit the fancy bookstore just down the road, with it’s built in ‘Starbucks’. Okay so the story isn't totally similar to the movie. But there are certain things that are close. It's my version, I hope you like it!
The Engagement: Kagome is a normal high school student. It's her junior year and she want's to make the most of it. What happens when she finds she is getting engaged to the son of a old family friend? Things run wild when her and the 'fiancé' work together to ruin their wedding. But only love can come out in this funny little twist of fate. This came out different than I was planning. It was going to be my usual InuKag deal, but this will be fun! Kagome: Kagome is finally comeing home after living in the United States for five years. She and her whole family, minus her father, are ready to start fresh again in Tokyo. Hopefully new friends will help her do just that.
