Hi there. My name is Lorelai Thompson, and I am your average 16 year old Canadian. I live in a small dinky little town in Alberta, and I go to a fairly small high school. I’m in grade eleven, and can’t wait to be finished high school.

I’m from a family of four kids; it’s just me and my three brothers, who are all older than me. (They’re 17, 19, and 21). It’s great. I can get booze just about anytime I want. ;

I have a part time job at a coffee shop downtown. Coffee is my life support. Without it I would die. Probably. Sometimes I seriously think I should just inject the stuff.

I have been a writer for as long as I can remember. My first story was bloody brilliant. I was in grade one, and it was about a kitty name Cat, and a puppy named Dog. They had a great adventure going down the sidewalk. It was about half a page long. Ever since, I’ve been brilliant.

Haha. Anyways. I’ve written quite a bit of stuff, ranging from fan-fiction to original fiction. I started my first novel when I was fourteen, which I never finished. I got about 30,000 words in and lost interest. I did have a very interesting bunch of main characters though, and those characters show up in random places elsewhere. It was a random modern story, just following a year in the life of a girl.

My second novel has gone significantly better, I must say. I have written about 60,000, and it is a story set in the world of kings, queens, and jesters. It’s got magic, although not focussed completely on it, and is the story of two cross-dressing youth; a young girl who wants to be an assassin (but can’t, due to various reasons), and a Prince who wants to be anything but. And so the Prince dresses like a woman, the girl like a man, each to get to their own goals. Their paths cross, and they save each other’s lives, blah blah blah. It’s going to be a trilogy.

Other than that, I have written an endless amount of random stories. I’ve got short stories, and novels that I have started and not gotten very far, and I have quite a bit of fan-fiction under my belt. Although I have tried putting some of it on FF before, this is a new account, and a new beginning for me here.

A little bit about me; I am 5 foot 10, and I am not the skinniest girl I know. I have dark brown/red hair, which changes colors quite frequently. I’ve got blue eyes, and no freckles to speak of. (Just so you know. xD)

I watch a lot of movies, and some of my favourites include Grease, Empire Records, the Notebook, Pretty Woman, and Hollywood Homicide. I’ve got tons of other favourites, however, I don’t feel like listing them. TV shows that I enjoy include Lost, Gilmore Girls (for me, the fluff-ball), The Office, Take Home Chef, and Family Guy. I’ve got tons of favourite bands, but here’s a couple; Weezer, NOFX, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Tracy Chapman, Rammstein, Bon Jovi, Roxette (xD My guilty pleasure), and the Doors.
