Author has written 8 stories for Legacy of Kain, Resident Evil, Morrowind, and G. I. Joe. 29. Male. Single. Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. Yes, they actually give out college degrees in that. Right now I am working primarily on Resident Evil Legends, a saga based, obviously, on the Resident Evil video game series. Part One starts when Wesker and Birkin first join the Umbrella Corporation. Part Two covers the events of Resident Evil: Zero. Part Three covers the infamous Mansion Incident from the original game. Part Four covers the events in between Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2. Part Five and Part Six will cover the infection and eventual destruction of Raccoon City. A bit of explanation. Resident Evil Legends is my personal attempt to write a continuous, coherent, and believable version of the RE universe. I love the characters and storyline of Resident Evil, but too many events in the games are ridiculous and silly. There are tons of plot holes and inconsistencies in the games, not the mention the illogical puzzles and other annoying details. I wanted to create one piece of fiction that would resolve all the plot holes and remove all the unrealistic details. I also wanted to write a serious version of RE where Wesker is more than a one-dimensional villain. Wesker is truly the main character of the entire RE universe, and he deserved more than a simple "evil genius" stereotype. Anyway, a few people have asked how long I plan to continue Legends. I definitely intend to continue the story through the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3. After that, I don't know. I have some notes and ideas about incorporating the back story of Code Veronica and continuing from there, but I'm going to wait and see. I felt that Code Veronica was a great game, but the story was a bit more farfetched than previous games. I don't know if I can create a believable plot that I will be happy with. The same goes for Resident Evil 4. I have not even played that game very much (it's too damn scary), but from what I know about the plot, it will be pretty hard for me to write it into my story. Wesker and his work with Umbrella is the core of the whole saga, and RE4 just goes in a totally new direction. I don't think I'm interested in moving the story to a European village where the residents are possessed by symbiotic worms (or whatever they are). Some people have asked me if I actually work for Capcom or if I'm a professional writer, but as honored as I am to recieve compliments like that, I have to admit I have no ties to the game industry and I've never been published anywhere outside of the internet. The funny thing is, I've never even beaten the majority of the RE games. I got to the final boss battle in RE1, the RE1 remake, and Zero but never actually beat them. I only managed to beat RE2 in easy mode, and I can't even get past Nosferatu on the helicopter pad in Code Veronica. I gave up on RE4 long ago cause it's too hard and too scary. The only game in the series I actually beat on my own was RE3. I've never played the side games, like Survivor, Outbreak, or Gaiden. If you have any comments or questions about Legends, feel free to send me a message or leave a review. I'm also currently working on a short novel based on GI Joe. I haven't seen the recent live action GI Joe movie, but the story is my version of what a good GI Joe movie might be. I also have a story based on The Legacy of Kain. I'm working on another story in that universe, but I'm reluctant to post it here because I might not be able to finish it. | |||||||||||
