Cursa, the second brightest star in the Eridani constillation, has just reasently reached Red Giant status and is included in a set of very rare stars that seem to exhibit huge (but rare) fluctuations in energy output. In Cursa's case, the star brightened by three magnitudes (a factor of 15) for a period lasting over two hours. Other names for this star include Dhalim and Kursa.

About me:

As you will notice, I am always mentioning the human psyche in my fanfic's. I'm not sure how it effects the characters or the plot, but for me, it makes them much more fun to write. Though I dont think i am really one for writing a good romance, i do intend for there to be at least some in one of my current plots, i just havnt gotten there yet.

I try not to mess with the origional plot in my fanfics. Not sure why, just a personal prefrence of mine that adds a little challange (not that writing a good fanfic isnt challanging enough). I also have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to writing stories. Let me explain: i may have 4 posted, but 13 more are currently roasting over a spicket, all of different origins. And yes, i obsess over all of them, playing with possible situations and how they would change my character's plight or the origional plot. Thus, i welcome suggestions with enthusiasm, but do not usually ask for them. As for me giving reviews, I do if I am inspired by the story to do so, but rarely review more than once per story.

Personality: I am a Virgo/Snake. For anyone who knows anything about either zodiac, i think that says it all wink. I am a smart ass, I love loop holes, and i have a very cynical sence of humor. Though i am blunt and somewhat tactless, I care about the people around me- friends, family, and the like. I do not get stressed easily and like doing things on my own agenda. According to several friends, i am very much a drama-queen, though the friend who said so was quick to add that they ment it in a good way. In school and with people i sort of know, im quiet and keep to myself for the most part. With friends or out in a public who will never see me again, i am my normal energetic self. I love challenging myself by looking at things in different perspectives, playing the 'what if' game, and exercising my creativity. My favorite question is "Why?" and i tend to over think things. My brain pays attention to detail and totally ignores the big picture, storing random information that are never of any use to anyone other than myself. I think it is because of this that i have such large leaps in train of thought, often making me come across as a little ditsy in person. One of my favorite past times is to argue extremely contriversial views, or start the argument just to see what people's opinions are on the topic, which sort of explains the next paragraph. Just remember: some of them are just things i am pointing out for my own amusment while others are my true opinions. Have fun trying to decide which is which.

My Views On the World:

- It is racist to try to not be racist -It is politically incorrect to try to be politically correct -We are teaching our kids it is okay to dress like whores -It was not safer 'in the good old days,' people just werent as cautious -Murphy's Law does really exist and the only way to combat it is with a healthy dose of pessimism -Tomorrow's biggest technological advancements are being hindered because something we have known to be true for years, is miserably wrong -The only way to have peace is to make war first -With each cured genetic disease, we are weakening the human race -For all we know, the Bible is really a fiction book written thousands of years ago; boy would they laugh if they could see us now -Everything can be explained scientifically, even God -Hormons don't give you pimples, stress caused from dealing with your parents does -Want proof of evolution? take a look a the history of cars

Story Status: Christmas Holiday! Whoot! Even better, it's going to last me until half way through January XD To celebrate, I'm going to try to post at least one chapter of Smoke & Mirrors, as well as a couple of chapters for Potter Shorts, and get my first chapter up for Static Shock. Unfortunately (on the writing front) i now have a boyfriend, so i will be spending quite a bit of time with him, which will of course take away from the amount of time i have on my hands… 12/20/08
