Author has written 3 stories for Troy, Tudors, and Lord of the Rings.

A Little Bit About Me: I’m nineteen years old and have a growing aspiration to become a published author. When I look at what I’ve posted on this website, I shiver at how elementary a lot of it is, but it helps me in my pursuit of writing original fiction to look at what other fan fiction writers have said about my style and how to improve on it, so I have refrained from deleting them. :) Thank you to everyone who has read and left comments on my stories! I greatly appreciate it! Aside from preparing to enter my first year of university, I am currently in the process of working on my first piece of original (historical) fiction.

Beta Work: If you ask me to beta a story of yours, I will only do so if you are serious about your work. I will not beta something you just whipped up that is full of very easy-to-fix grammatical errors. In other words, I expect you to submit something that is legible. At present, I am quite busy beta-ing three very lovely stories. One for the Jane Eyre fandom (Awakenings by Paddington), another for the Chronicles of Narnia fandom (Their Wise Words by barelypassing4sane), and a third for the Pride and Prejudice (titled Fitzwilliam Follies by Realmling. Three fics is definitely my maximum capacity for doing beta work because I like to have good, solid partnerships with the people I work with, and part of that is giving them my fullest attention. Please see my beta reader profile for more information. :)

Regarding Reviews: Come on, guys, we all like getting reviews submitted for our stories. To re-iterate, that’s reviews, not flames. If you feel like a story could use some serious help, try some concrit instead of outright flaming. Authors appreciate it when you take the time to critique or even praise their work. Flaming is rude and immature, so don’t do it.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things :)

Favorite Quotes:

"The reason why so few good books are written is that so few people who can write know anything." Walter Bagehot

"Take care that you never spell a word wrong. Always before you write a word, consider how it is spelled, and, if you do not remember, turn to a dictionary. It produces great praise to a lady to spell well." Thomas Jefferson

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." Albert Einstein

"If you read good books, when you write, good books will come out of you." Natalie Goldberg

Interests: Tudor history, classic English literature, World War I and II history, and TCM (Turner Classic Movies - a channel on TV where they show old black and white movies with old movie stars), archery, dancing, acting, and, of course, writing!

These Are a Few Things That Bother Me :(

Most Detested Authors/Books/Characters: Stephanie Meyer, Philippa Gregory, the Twilight series, The Other Boleyn Girl, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, Jacob Black, and mostly anything and everything written for teenagers (hence the reason why you will never find me in the Teen section of a bookstore!).

Twilight: Don’t talk to me about Twilight. Just don’t. I don’t care if you love it, but it is most definitely not something that I am interested in. There, enough said.
