Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes, House, M.D., Life on Mars, and Merlin. O hai. I doubt that you're very interested in the workings of MoonlitPuddle's mind. However, the Puddle is extremely egotistical and has decided to fill up this blank space with meaningless trivia about themselves. Yeah. Sad, isn't it? The mandatory list of ships: House M.D None. Hah. Well, none that involve House, at any rate. House hurts too much to actually open up to anyone. If he was ever going to be with anyone, it would have been with Stacey and look how that turned out. House/Cuddy might start off well but would end in tears and redundancy. Chase/Cameron is reasonable and cute but a million ingots says that it won't last. The writers want to do their soap-opera thing again. Dollhouse None. I mean, come on. Who is there to pair up? A bunch of mindless zombies, a cop, a geek, an ex-cop? If you try and pair Topher up with anyone, I will send the ogres after you. Topher is too amazing to be saddled with a pairing. He's got his computer and his chair and his drawer of snacks. Doctor Who None. I vaguely supported Nine/Ten/Rose, but now Rose has got her own Doctor-creature-being-thing. That was actually quite a let down and really cheap, but whatever. Anyway, where did Susan come from? The Doctor's loved and lost too much. Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes Aside from the obvious Sam/Annie, Chris/Shaz, none. I refuse to believe in Gene/Alex because Gene is far to brilliant to be wasted on her. Sherlock Holmes Please. Does no one read the books? Batman Joker/Crane is disturbingly fascinating. It's like scab that you want to keep on picking and picking even though it bleeds and hurts. Only it does get awfully repetitive. Almost all slash/sex fics do, I find. It's all groaning and thrusting and ear-nibbling and name-whispering and hip-grinding. BORING. Joker/Harley, obviously, because I think Harley's the closet the Joker ever got to actually caring about someone and Batman/any random chick. Merlin Why is there such an abundance of Arthur/Merlin slash? "Merthur"? Give it a rest, people. It gets so boring. Arthur/Gwen, Gwen/Lancelot, because it's right. Uther/Morgana is one of the grossest things ever, imho, because in most of the stories I read, Morgana is Uther's daughter. So forgive me for blenching and squirming at that pairing. Merlin shouldn't be paired with anyone. An ill-fated attraction to Nimueh is the most I'd stretch to, but Merlin is a solo act. Well, that made this look distressingly fangirlish. Favourites. Read Lauralot's stories; they're the best that I've read on this site. Funny, mad, educational, original, faithful -- they're awesome. And she writes such a cute Crane. | |||||||
