Author has written 4 stories for Final Fantasy XII, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Final Fantasy VII. Hibernation-liberated Homepage: - Avatar fanart. And lots of it. - Fanart surrounding the Final Fantasy VII Compilation and Kingdom Hearts are the current craze. Stories (In-progress and pending): --As of November 10th, 2009, I have officially pulled Pax Versus from the site. As it was my first attempt at fiction not only in the category of Final Fantasy XII, but any fanfiction category in general, coming to this decision has ultimately been hell and back. To the readers, reviewers and watchers who were with the story all the way and took interest in it, I am so sorry. However, just because Pax will not be around for all to see does not mean I'm done with it. Someday, I will do justice to this first fic and revise, write and finish it as it was meant to be. The battle may be over, but the war will be won-- Eschatos: Priorly known as 'Untitled, alternate universe, supernatural FFXII fiction: Likely revolving around vampires, myths and even more so, Larsa and Penelo.' This also marks the first time I've become a recipient of the beta-ing technique; because of such, it's turning out to be a coherently delightful fic to write. In-progress. Untitled, semi-alternate universe Kingdom Hearts fiction: Taking a stab at the universe of KH. Possibly. Pending. Cat and Mouse (complete): First FFXII short-story (and my first one-shot, overall... though, it could be considered a drabble, what with the length -_-), written for two days straight and posted on Christmas Eve '07:D. Considering brutal revision. Oracle: Dum Vita est Spes est: Alternate universe spin on the saga of Avatar: The Last Airbender -trading in the nations and surrounding mythologies for those of Greek origin. Re:Genesis: Foray into FFVII; alternate history, cheifly from the perspective of Crisis Core's poetical antagonist. Contemplating pulling it down for the time being. Intro Speil: Anagrams and adequate rest are still in my good books. As are fanfictions which generally concern any thought-provoking, spellbinding material, and the occasional dose of Alternate Universe stories, crossover plots, revival fics that make sense, and sensible, practical comedy. (As you can imagine, dropping a multi-lingual unicorn out of the Lifestream and having it impaled on Cloud's gravity-defying hair does not fall into my aforementioned preference of humour.) I'm a hopeless fan of the following installments of Final Fantasy: VII (With this whole compilation thing going on, you can make anything for fic material), VIII (Cliche', but enjoyable), IX (For the most part, I've come to appreciate it better with the amount of reading poignant, insightful fictions revolving around several of the most under-appreciated characters), X, X-2 (It and its predecessor did, for the most unfathomable reason, appear as an excuse to put the foil-ideal of Cloud and Squall into focus; though, it does have its moments), XII (Dialogue, intruige, developement, cinematic wonder, fighting style, ability to pair any characters together. It pretty much covers all aspects of spectacular.) (The Kingdom Hearts series is also a like of mine. Mainly, due to all the character developement that's left open for Roxas, Namine, and just about every other nobody and side-character.) Usually, I'm a devotee to several films entailing the talents of Gore Verbinski (Pirates, mostly), Tim Burton, Hans Zimmer, Lebo. M, Chris Weitz, Alfonso Cuaron, Steven Spielberg, Tetsuya Nomura, and just about anyone else that's managed to spit out a good movie in the last few decades. Sit-coms (e.g. The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Office) and Gregory House dominate my TV-watching schedule (along with the occassional dvds of Firefly). As does Avatar: The Last Airbender. (Either love it, hate it, or suck it up and tolerate it.) Fantasy novels (as unthinkable as it seems :P) are a majority of what I invest my reading prowess in; with the exception of a handful of thought-provoking, non-fiction books. The authors of which are as followed: Phillip Pullman, David Clement-Davies, Kenneth Oppel, John Grogan, Tamora Pierce, Stephenie Meyer (yes, the infectious fad that is the Twilight series has gotten to me, too), Michelle Paver, Alison Croggon, J.K. Rowling, Tad Williams, Richard Adams, and Clare Bell. There's no point in defining which 'shipping/pairing/couple/beyond-platonic relationship' side I'm allied to when character pairings are concerned (aside for a certain number of signed reviews, which normally display such :)), because, by this time and age, anyone can be paired with anyone. Seriously. (An instance being: Vaan and Filo. Seven years apart isn't even a skipping-stone jump when compared to Ashe and Basch, or Yuffie and Vincent (And all that shmuck, from Auron&Rikku to Balthier&Fran). Besides, with the latter being, practically, an invisible force of wasted, under-appreciated side-character in FFXII ((though, given some notice in Revenant Wings)), you can guess why, in the majority of present and future fics, you'll find me putting this duo together.) I'm very open to any sort of music, whether it be J-pop, Classical, R&B, stuff off of game/movie soundtracks, musical songs, remixes, Anime songs, Indie, 80's, Oldies, some forms of Rock, Alternative, Orchestral, Philharmonic, Acoustic, and few tunes of Electronica. Trivial trivia of perspective: -The 2007 appearance of "Beowulf" gives me a distinct reminder of Basch. -I support the idea that Rikken looks like Jecht. Slightly. -The serpent pendant Larsa wears is strangely akin to (or derived from) the two-snake staff of Asclepius. -Seeing as FFX is indirectly cited as the 'past' of FFVII, I conclude that Ronso could possibly be the distinct ancestors of Fire-wolf tribe in Cosmo Canyon. -On that note, either Lulu or Paine have relation to Vincent. As Yuna to Aerith. Or Al-bhed Cid to an ancestry-dilluted Cid Highwind. And so on. -Concerning Nobodies, Somebodies, and Heartless, I remain open to any suggestions and speculations. Even if Demyx does give me the most vivid thought of Zell, in terms of Somebody/Heartless. -In terms of his parents, Al-Cid could, literally, be a bastard. I still think he's nothing short of perverse jerk. Not always, though, just sometimes. -For fans of both 'FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus' and 'FFXII' who haven't picked this up: Listen closely to Ashe and Shelke's voices. Or check the voice acting credits. It took me a while to get this one, and I was beyond the state of 'jaw unhinged from sudden burst of realizational shock' when I finally got it. -I perceive Ultima as the 'Obey me or I'll decimate you on the spot with my shiny, corrupt Holy powers' sort of leader. -The casts of FFIX and FFXII are somewhat similar. Both contain a thief, knight, princess, young girl with magickal prowess, young boy whom has some, either heavily or slight, connection to the 'bad guys', a man with a cocky attitude, and a non-Human member of wise demeanor, and complicated ties to past relationships. -If you look at Gramis in a certain way, his head appears to be the only human part of his body, I kidd you not; the rest of him, from the neck down, looks like a friggin' cyborg. Quizzical Quotations: --'Graphic Novel/Book', Movie/TV, Video game, Song lyrics-- ("How did you know she was his granddaughter?" "Because I'm ADDISON F-CKING PAYNE!" -Math, Addison Payne: 'Last Blood', page 86.) ("We just can't stop believing, Because we have to try. We can rise above the truth and the lies." -Within Temptation: See who I am.) ("Did you see that coming?" "Yeah... but I was hoping she was expelled, or into hard drugs." "That was my first instinct too. Or a DUI... anything but this!" - Mac MacGuff, Bren: Juno.) ("I suggested we flip a coin, but Angela said she doesn't like to gamble. Of course, by saying that, she was gambling that I wouldn't smack her." -Pam Beesley: The Office.) ("I have seen my becoming a vampire in two lights: the first light was simply enchantment... But the other light was my wish for self-destruction." -Anne Rice: 'Interview with the Vampire'.) ("Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us." -V: V for Vendetta.) ("And speaking of Italy and sports cars that I stole there, you still owe me a yellow Porsche." -Alice Cullen: 'Eclipse'.) ("So what if I'm a puppet? Once upon a time, you were too!" -Kadaj: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.) ("...This is my phone... Tell Yuffie she has no right to reach this number..." -Vincent Valentine: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.) ("Keep your snout in the trough where it belongs. This thinking ill-befits you, Ba'Gamnan." -Balthier: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Why keep the bait when you've landed the fish?" -Ba'Gamnan: Final Fantasy XII.) ("If it is a crime to wander on one's own, then I, too, am guilty." -Larsa: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Do not worry. I believe he will treat her well." "Nobody knows men like Fran does." -Fran, Balthier: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Let them watch. I know something of cages." -Basch: Final Fantasy XII.) ("But how- how can I trust you?" "Because I give you my word." -Penelo, Larsa: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Suppose you kidnapped me instead? You're a Sky Pirate, aren't you? Then steal me. Is that so much to ask?" -Ashe: Final Fantasy XII.) ("So you were carrying it all along. The fates jest." "Tell these fates of yours to leave me out." -Basch, Balthier: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Traitor or no, I see no other way." -Vossler: Final Fantasy XII.) ("So I can fly it then?" "Are you mad?" -Vaan, Fran: Final Fantasy XII.) ("This is something that I have to do. Not only for myself, but for all those who have fallen. I will not be made to hide!" -Ashe: Final Fantasy XII.) ("Then it's settled. We should leave before the Marquis realizes she's missing. Like proper kidnappers." -Fran: Final Fantasy XII.) ~ Zaz9-zaa0; signing off. | |||||||||||
