| Dudly |
Author has written 24 stories for Sailor Moon, Prince of Tennis, Harry Potter, Sweet Home Alabama, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Angel. Dudly is planning on writing a novel. No, lots of. That's her dream. My angst goes into drawing, my confusion is usually used for poetry, my lazy time is reserved for reading, and the rest will be spent on writing. That's the way it usually is, but when I have school... well, I'm too busy to do any of that. After school, my nights are filled with homeworks and lessons. If I can, I'll read some fics in the late evening... xD You'll understand that, unfortunately, I don't update often. Which I am truly sorry for. But I do tend to carburate on reviews -wink- (((Obviously, I'm more a oneshot girl because I get tired of something really easily. Call it laziness. ))) And, for that reason, I feel twice as guilty... xD Because I don't review reply much ._. But every review I get means a lot to me, and I thank everyone who took 2 minutes or more of their time to read and review my stuff. I'm so happy each time xD Thanks to all of you. --ROYAL CORNER OF MY PROFILE (well, I say corner but it's more a center) -- A bit of AtoRyo a day keeps the Mary Sues away- Awinkins Dudly is a proud and dedicated Royal shipper. Have always been, will always be xD If you had the Royal Fever, clap your hands Clap, clap If you have the Royal Fever, clap your hands Clap, clap If you love them and YOU KNOW IT and you REALLY WANT TO SHOW IT... If you love AtoRyo, clap your hands CLAP, CLAP -Eternal.Angel x Royal Drabble- Falling For You EBERT'S LAW When you ask somebody to try their own hand at something before criticizing your efforts, you have violated Ebert's Law and lost the argument. Roger Ebert is not a filmmaker, but he knows what he likes and doesn't, and has every right to say so. Similarly, people don't need to be chefs to recognize a good restaurant, or musicians to appreciate a symphony. Person 1: Your story is rubbish! Person 2: I bet you couldn't do better! Person 2 has violated Ebert's Law. For you people who think that one needs to be a writer to give concrit. Really, if one has his novel reviewed harshly in a newspapers, will he sue the author of the critic and tell him: "WELL I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU WRITE YOUR OWN NOVEL!" No. He wouldn't. Oh. I didn't even talk about me on the profile (I was certain I mentioned that French is my first language before that quote-thingy, but nope) My name is Dudly on this site, and that's what you should call me. =D I'm a simple girl. I have many mood swings, and it shows on my profile updates. The Prince of Tennis fandom brought me friends, readers, made me discover great fics and great authors, therefore it's my favorite fandom. I respect it, and it always sadden me to see that it's becoming that crappy. If you blame me for reviewing your fic, you blame me for loving my fandom. How to make Dudly happy in two seconds. Be Slacky-chan. This thing she said cheered me up for a day (and it still makes me happy xD): (You're DUDLY. You are pretty much the Atobe expert. Anyone who read Royal Oneshots knows you can write a convincing Atobe.) Or give me long, rambling reviews. I love them to bits! -squeals- ((Or be my little darling cousin. She's so adorable!)) ((Or be my lovable guy little cousin. n.n)) Quotes from ficcies: x “So, your secret phrase is ‘ninja stars,’” said Sakaki. “If you can get Oishi to say that in less than twenty-six seconds, then you win.” “I know we can do it!” Eiji said as he called to Oishi who expected he would be the next to come out because it was pretty obvious that the four people before him were the doubles partners of the other members of the groups. So Oishi practically sprinted over and as soon as he came to a stop, Ryuuzaki started the clock. “Hey Oishi!” said Eiji. “Hi Eiji,” said Oishi, but then he looked contemplative. “Hang on… wait… I suddenly got a totally random thought!” “And what thought is that, Oishi?” Eiji asked. “Ninja stars,” said Oishi with a shrug. “Does that mean anything to you?” Eiji nodded and looked at the coaches. The coaches were standing there with wide eyes. Ryuuzaki was so shocked she hadn’t even pressed stop on the watch yet. “I knew you guys were synced… but that right there was ridiculous…” said Ryuuzaki. “That was seven seconds.” -Four or Five, Link and Luigi x “I knew you two were dense, but I did not realize you were this dense,” he commented. “Go waste someone else’s time.” -Confiding in an Heartless Jerk, Romulan Empress x Can you sing the alphabet backwards: now I know my ABC’s, next time won’t you sing with me! Z, Y, X, W, V, U, T, S, R, Q, P, O, N, M, L, K, J, I, H, J, F, E, D, C, B, A. I’m the only one who can do it! I’m the only one who can do it! Hoi Hoi! HAHA! -I Hate All These Surveys!, caffineFIX (That quote only stuck to me because I learnt my alphabet backwards because of it. xD) x Ron groaned, “Yeah, I can just see it. You're sitting on a train and you hear the kid next to you whine, 'Damn it! I got Harry Potter again, this sucks!' ” (About Chocolate Frogs' cards) -His Finest Hour, by Mists x The only thought in my mind then was that apparently the cactus thought along the same lines as me. The next thought was that I did not just think that a cactus thought like me. -No, it’s Thomson!, by ketchupblood x “Enough. Tezuka, stop smiling!” Kikumaru wailed. Tezuka’s ‘grin’ remained fixed on his face. “…I…can’t…” the reply came after a while. “Why not? Just stop grinning already, Tezuka. You’re scaring us!” Kikumaru wailed again. Tezuka’s grin was unchanging, though his glare was also activated too, making him look 10 times scarier than his usual self. “…… my face has cramped……” -Prince of Cheerleading, by Gwynhafra x (I thought you broke up with him) Fuji peers at him out of a solitary blue eye. "Wouldn't. Tezuka doesn't let things break." -Infection, by Ithil x 1. Keigo doesn’t think he is greater than God. He just thinks he is greater than you. -17 Things You Didn't Know About, by mcrrocker2005 x Sometimes, Tezuka wants to say "Psh" too. 12. Whenever Momo and Ryoma invite Eiji out for burgers, Oishi wishes that, just once, they would invite Oishi along, too. He actually keeps a few 1000-yen notes tucked away in a corner of his wallet, just in case. (That quote actually made me sad for the boy... xD) -Twenty Things About Seigaku, by Aiwritingfics x “Mamo-chan, our daughter is not plotting global invasion.” “’Course not,” he grunted. “Chibi-Usa’s just plotting to stay an only child. Forever!" -Light the Way, by lenidrabbles Most Beautiful Endings I've read x He needed to make sure that Hikaru would never defeat him... for if he lost, Hikaru would have no reason left to stay. END -Seance de Go, by Diva-esque (OH NOES! Someone actually did use the word... Oo -pouts-) x And right there and then in the middle of the celebration, she tiptoed and kissed him. Cheers, teasing, and laughter filled the place, with Iji’s clapping buoyed by Naruto’s applause and perhaps Hinata’s approving smile from the heavens, but the world had stopped its motion for both Neji and Tenten. For a moment, the world was theirs alone. The End About a Daddy and a Nanny, by syoran no hime (A must read, NejiTen fans!) Your everyday quote: "When life hands you lemon, make grape juice then sit back and let the world wonder how you've done it." Unknown. x "Don't worry: I'm batman!" -James Lafferty, One Tree Hill extras x "Look... at... me..." Severus Snape x "Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege." Unknown Quoting conversations: x Dudly: That wasn’t the end of it either. If it wasn’t the school babbling on and on about how Atobe was made of awesome, it was Atobe Keigo himself babbling on and on about he was made of awesome. x Dudly: Ryoma kicked their arses by... unlocking doors, I reckon. Daisy (absurd.musings): They forgot to lock the gate, I bet. XD! Kyoka: Echizen... he knows how to pick locks. Daisy: Psh. Duh. Because Sanada was being forced by the rest of Rikkai to go visit Yukimura, so it's all his fault that the gate was unlocked. That, and because someone bought a crappy door lock. x The Eight “I’d Really Rather You Didn’ts” 1- I’d really rather you didn’t act like a sanctimonious holier-than-thou ass when describing my noodly goodness. If some people don’t believe in me, that’s okay. Really, I'm not that vain. Besides, this isn’t about them so don’t change the subject. 2-I’d really rather you didn’t use my existence as a means to oppress, subjugate, punish, eviscerate, and/or, you know, be mean to others. I don’t require sacrifices, and purity is for drinking water, not people. 3-I’d really rather you didn’t judge people for the way they look, or how they dress, or the way they talk, or, well, just play nice, Okay? Oh, and get this into your thick heads: woman = person. man = person. Sam = Sam. One is not better than the other, unless we’re talking about fashion and I'm sorry, but I gave that to women and some guys who know the difference between teal and fuchsia. 4-I’d really rather you didn’t indulge in conduct that offends yourself, or your willing, consenting partner of legal age AND mental maturity. As for anyone who might object, I think the expression is go fuck yourself, unless they find that offensive in which case they can turn off the TV for once and go for a walk for a change. 5-I’d really rather you didn’t challenge the bigoted, misogynistic, hateful ideas of others on an empty stomach. Eat, then go after the bitches. 6-I’d really rather you didn’t build multi million-dollar synagogues/churches/temples/mosques/shrines to my noodly goodness when the money could be better spent (take your pick): Ending poverty Curing diseases Living in peace, loving with passion, and lowering the cost of cable I might be a complex-carbohydrate omniscient being, but I enjoy the simple things in life. I ought to know. I AM the creator. 7-I’d really rather you didn’t go around telling people I talk to you. You’re not that interesting. Get over yourself. And I told you to love your fellow man, can’t you take a hint? 8-I’d really rather you didn’t do unto others as you would have them do unto you if you are into, um, stuff that uses a lot of leather/lubricant/Las Vegas. If the other person is into it, however (pursuant to #4), then have at it, take pictures, and for the love of Mike, wear a CONDOM! Honestly, it’s a piece of rubber. If I didn’t want it to feel good when you did it I would have added spikes, or something. You gotta love the idea. xD Currently my religion. Spread the word! Animes: Prince of Tennis, Ouran High School Host Club, Sailor Moon, Fruit Basket, Pretear, Peach Girl... -ponders- I don't know if there are more. Mangas (because, that's a different thing, y'know?): NANA, Fruit Basket, Naruto, Peach Girl, Shaman King, One Piece, Flame of Recca, Hikaru no Go, Rurouni Kenshin, Fushigi Yugi, Ranma 1/2, Dragon Ball xDD... -ponders- Well, I really do tend to forget about what I've read or watched. Ehe. xD TV Shows: One Tree Hill. =D That's love. Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls. Want to befriend me?
