What I'm up to:

Studying Psychology and Criminology at University (2nd year).

Writing-wise -

I specialize in humour and satire with action and adventure coming a close second. I can take even the most overused plot and make my own interesting twist and do so frequently. Writing romance is something I'm trying but I can't tell if its good or not, same with angst. I can't write mystery and horror isn't something I've tried. Grammar was never my strong point but it isn't so bad that a ten year old could do better.

With fan fiction I try to make mine as original as possible, and I tend to see crossovers that no one else does (Probably due to the variety of things I have read/watched). I like writing unique stories, it makes me feel more unique.

My grammar does occasionally lapse and my spell check does occasionally miss things, English lessons were not something I enjoyed. Being told what to write just isn't my cup of tea.

I have no beta (I don't want one either)

Why I write huge crossovers: Because I can. That and by writing then I hope to expand peoples horizons making them think 'Hey that sounds like a good book/show/movie' and then they get exposed to a different genre or something that could help them.

First part of the Through The Portal saga

This is my first story, it's an eventual crossover with FMA and Stargate but it's near the end, this story will have many parts and many crossovers but I need to write it all down.

Summary:

Max and Laura are two teenage girls who look at the world they live in and see only boredom and monotony. Their escape comes after one maths lesson when they are invited on a mission to save another world, possibly just by existing there. Shame they weren't told that to adjust to the culture new dimension they would be reverted to infants, growing up with who they believed were fictional characters. They walk down different paths in the same place, a third friend turning up to keep them grounded. Things are never plain sailing for the trio as they experience some life changing events.

At the age of ten the discovery of a familiar device leads on to their next big adventure.

Status: Chapter 30 up FINISHED (being rewritten as and when I feel like it)

Summary:

If this had been a game, then the hidden continents would have been the Tutorial Area compared to what is to come for our protagonists.

This is not a game.

There are no save points, no pause, no restarts.

Max and Laura may have thought they were prepared for this, but only time will tell if they can stay afloat on this version of Earth. To survive they must become stronger and wiser. Giving up is not an option, surrender is not a word in their vocabulary and they certainly do not take prisoners. Sometimes they need reminding of these facts.

Summary:

Sometimes all you need is a good vacation and where better to go that the fabled lost city of Atlantis, not that Max does much vacationing. Haku's there to watch her six and right now there is no one else Max would prefer.

Of course vacations can't last forever, I don't think she expected to be kick out at the first opportunity though.

Summary:

Atlantis changed Max, it took a while to notice and even longer to try to fix. It would have been easier if she stayed in one place instead of leaving Konoha after not being back for long.

To Max, adventure was calling her name. She'd had a taste of what this Earth had to offer and she couldn't get enough no matter what it threw at her. It beat the pain and hurt Konoha seemed to give her.

Summary:

More adventures because Max just can't get enough of the adrenaline rush. At least she's sticking to one dimension this time (not that she has a choice) maybe she'll even mature a bit. Maybe some romance will creep in. Various relationships will be developed and explored.

I have no idea where this will be going, I have a start, an end and vague ideas for the middle.

This will probably be the last part of Max's story. It's bound to be a long one though and who knows, I might expand on some other characters story.
