"Announcing Her Majesty Princess Alexandraya, Lady of the Lake, Sister to His Majesty Prince Alexana Lord of Atlantis, together know as Gemini, and Youngest Children of His Majesty Oberon, High King of all Fay!" cried the herald opening the door into Alexandraya's dorm room.As the red haired young Fay stepped into the chamber her eyes fixed on the man "Would You cut that out?" she said slightly put out. He seemed to feel the need to do this every time she enter her dorm. The lower Fay squinted at the princess before replying in a hurt voice: "I am only doing my job Your Majesty." The fair skinned girl levelled a glare at the man beside her stating in an exasperated tone "It is Alexandraya, Draya for short," H rolled his eyes at this, decorum stated, as she well knew the he at least refer to her by the title of Lady "And go do your job somewhere else, I am quite sure my father has need of another Court Herald back home in Avalon!" he snorted at that, but it was not his place to dispute her Majesties wishes. "Of course Lady Draya." When the old man made no gesture towards movement, Alexandraya's hand descended to the straight blade fastened, via a hand tooled frog, to her hip. With a slow practised motion she began to draw the magic infused sword once known to mortals as Excalibur. Though the Herald doubted she would be able to do much in the way of limb removal in her silken Court Dress, he knew of the majiks she had fused into the shimmering metal when it had been tossed into the sea at Art'ur's death. She had, after all, reached up and caught it mid air. With that last thought he dashed out of the room, only to take up watch on the doors other side. Alexandraya stowed the mythical sword with a sigh before turning her glare upon them. "Hullo, As you more then likely heard my name is Alexandraya. My twin brother, Alexana, and I have spent most of our lives within the Faery Mists, but it seams that most of our exploits into the mortal realms have had oddly made there ways into your history's. The sinking of our city Atlantis, our interactions with Art'ur, He was better know during that time as Merlin, and I as the Lady of the Lake and Lee Fay. The latter a name to which Morgan was added at a later date the through twisted to cast me as an enemy to the crown, I assure you I was an assist throughout Art'ur's campaign. Continuing, since then we have not left the Mists and indeed Atlantis, save for Samhein, The Yule and, every four years, our birth night, the twenty ninth of the second month. But a few years back Alexana and I spoke with our Father, and he agreed that we needed some of the more modern knowledge of the Mortals. There are things about us you should know, we are dangerous and cynical: Fear is like a drug to us, hate we can scent upon the air, and love tantalize our taste buds like a fine wine, the three together is like a fine piece of chocolate; dark, rich, and bitter. We seek them out, and when we find them, we show no mercy. | |||||||||
