To be completely honest, the past couple of semesters I've been taking courses that require a lot of writing, and I kind of lost the motivation to write anything that wasn't for a grade. I missed writing fanfiction, though; it was actually interesting to me, unlike essays on other people's books. This semester I'm going to try to use fanfiction as a means of improving my regular writing. I've enrolled in some classes that are really going to challenge me as a writer, so I'm going to need lots of practice, and I'm counting on you guys now more than ever for con-crit! March 09: ...Okay, so maybe I lied. I really haven't updated anything recently. I guess I got ahead of myself when I said I'd write more this semester; the fact is, I don't have time! On top of my course loads, I'm tutoring some Chinese students in English right now and I've got to go ahead and start thinking about my semester abroad. Good news, though; I'm working on some longer stories, which is why it's taking me so long to get them finished. So hopefully by the summer, I'll have some more stuff up. June 09: I have found two - count 'em, TWO! - wonderful betas for my (superlong) DGM fic! The only problem is... it isn't finished. -hides in a corner- Um, but I'm working on it. Little by little. So maybe by August it'll be up? Hopefully? -_-;; But I've got a lot more ideas for other fics, too.
