Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, and Ella Enchanted. Hey guys, I have left the world of fanfiction. I find myself too busy with life to pursue it anymore. Besides, I have discovered that it's not uncommon of published authors to request that fanfiction not be written about their works, and I don't want to infringe on any copyright issues. For you fanfiction writers out there, please check with the official site of the author to see what they think about fanfiction. Also, considering writing your own original work. It's so rewarding and I love it as the alternative. There are even communities like fanfiction.net but for original work so you can recieve feedback or write just for kicks. I know it's fun to play in other peoples' worlds, but it's also fun to create your own! No rules, no constrictions! Plus, you could actually make something out of it. You never know if you'll be published for your own stuff, but you certainly won't if you just do spin offs of someone else's hard work. Authors put months and years of work into their books, and it's a little disrespectful to take all of their hard work and cheapen it. For authors who have no problem with fanfictions, then go ahead!
